No, they're from 616. The problem is that, as Galactus explains later, the past changed and replaced them in the process.

Anti-man couldn't be defeated because he was living anti-matter. Blue Marvel had anti-matter manipulation powers though. It's not like BM just punched Anti-man into submission.

As far as power levels go regarding superman-analogues, Blue Marvel was able to just barely pull out a win against King Hyperion who's generally considered the strongest of the Hyperions (it took two Hyperions working together to take King Hyperion down) so he's definitely up there. In terms of raw strength, Hulk, Thor, Sentry, Hyperion, and Blue Marvel are all around the same-tier. They just get various edges thanks to their additional powers.

Hulk has his ability to get even stronger through more anger. Thor has lightning powers. Sentry can become The Void (who is obscenely OP) and is a subconscious reality warper. Hyperion can boost his strength with exposure to the sun. Blue Marvel has his anti-matter powers.

No, the way Ewing uses Omniverse is more Multiverse + all the other shit surrounding it. To compare it to DC, if you look at Morrison's Map of the Multiverse, the 52 Earths would be the "multiverse" (52 different universes) while the multiverse + everything else in the image (heaven, hell, apocalypse, new genesis, etc.).

Using Ewing's definition, the inner circle (everything within the speedforce wall) is the Multiverse, while the Omniverse is everything within the Source Wall.

As it applies to Marvel, the multiverse is the various universes while the omniverse is the multiverse + the superflow + the neutral zone.

I've never heard of this Blue Marvel Brashir guy but I read his origin and powers and he's written like a little kid made a superhero and just said "he's smarter than everyone, he's stronger than everyone, he's gooder than everyone, his power is maximum".

That's pretty close to the truth actually. IIRC his concept was made by his creator when he was pretty young, and once he was old enough to write for Marvel he added him in.

To the surprise of nobody, having no flaws and being better than everyone else while magically being retconned into the past does not endear the character to many. Luckily, Ewing's been working on it and there is at least a sense that he isn't that overpowered anymore.

He's still a literal nobody fame-wise though.
