Man, I was hoping to see more of these, but whatever, I'm gonna do this twofer of terrible.
Starting with THE DEAL
NO.
>>94035400
Technically these are fan comics, but the art is...almost professional, and they are so hilariously pretentious that they gotta be seen.
>>94035421
I haven't skipped any pages FYI, it really is this choppy
>>94035449
Because of course Batman and the joker are gay for each other
>>94035458
Woops, forgot to link other threads
>>94026850 Countdown
>>94033336 Jadestreet
>>94017323 Nemesis
>>94035479
The art is basically professional, those fuckin faces aside
But this writing
>>94035498
IT BEGINS
Anyone reading?
>>94035523
Oh yeah, and it ends by quoting Bill Hicks for some reason
>>94035533
Thats the end of THE DEAL. Ill do God's End in a moment. Its shorter
Time for God's End or Superman is a giant hypocrite who doesn't understand about survival of the fittest in nature.
Also 4chan isn't letting me post the the title page for some reason, so heres page 1
I remember reading this because I actually saw a good review on a site I trusted. Never again. What a load of fucking bullshit.
>>94035549
I think you missed one page? The last one?
>>94035487
the art is just a worse paul pope
not that that's bad
>>94035581
Fuuuuuuck
You're right.
Sorry bout that
HERE is the last page of THE DEAL, I think I meant to post it on >>94035549
And its such a beautiful page too
>>94035513
Unfortunately. My bile rises by the post.
>>94035579
Fuck, where were we
Oh yes, Superman refusing to cure cancer
>>94035603
>>94035409
YES!
>>94035603
Those guys he's carrying are probably still irradiated right?
>>94035615
>I could have helped them be perfect, but that would be wrong
>But killing them all is just fine
>>94035629
And thus ends another masterpiece.
Thats all I got
>>94035637
The worst part is the art here is actually pretty decent. This guy could easily get professional work.
Just that fucking writing.
>>94035629
Why doesn't he just stop them from doing this? Why kill them? He could wreck the ship every time they rebuild it.
>>94035590
It's a hell of a lot better than that published Black Mask comic that just went up previous to this.
What the fuck am I reading?
Why do you hate us so, OP?
>>94035887
Its the storytime of pain anon.
Though it doesn't seem to have as many storytimers this year which is sad
>>94035513
the fuck? this premier autism right here
>>94035487
looks like the artist is using that dover boys smear trick when batman punches the joker in the face
Bump for myself and others. Keep all the pain alive.
Weren't this made by Mexicans? I like the art but the writing is shit.
>>94035579
I filled the text-limit three times ranting incoherently about with my issues with this comic; Fuck. Anyway:
Showing a being of almost unlimited power shirking their own (chosen) personal responsibility and ending it in a bit of self-righteous destruction is a huge cop-out. I am inclined to think that the writer is both lazy and stupid, as this was a personal work done for their own gratification. Fuck the writer up the nose for wrapping Superman in a cloak of despair and calling it knowledge and understanding. I don't care for Superman, but this comic is wholly antithetical to the best things, imo, that the Superman concept has to offer a reader. Even if that was actually the writer's INTENT, a knowing subversion of the good for people to recoil from... even in that unlikely scenario, the tool is used lamely at best.
The best things you can say about that comic is that the art is excellent and the artist and writer clearly work well together, and that they succeeded in pissing me off.The natural world is not some beautiful logical semi-post-nihilist self-aware acceptance of a lack of meaning, it is just a giant evolutionarily driven clusterfuck where a bunch of things compete to exist, consume more than they need, and act like dicks. Many animals do cry when their loved ones die, they get depressed, they fucking mourn. It is of course hard to to judge cognition and human beings love seeing things that aren't there, but we also get really icked out about the implications of animals having feelings. Fuck off with this "They understand their place in this dimension," malarkey.
I dislike virtually all religions when you get down to it (and I don't mean just people being hypocrites, no-true-scotmans crap, but the actual specific views espoused by and derived from religions), but I think many Christians at least have it right when they say that despair is the worst sin. For completely different reasons though.
>>94035591
Whats the point of doing batman fan the comic isn't even going to be about batman. I mean the quote at the end has nothing to do with what was presented, Batman just kills himself.
>>94035400
It's only Friday, anon. People don't want to blow their load quite yet.
>>94039618
Still no sign of the 9/11 comic or Girls. So we got a few greatest hits up our sleeve.I'm looking forward to the social Trinity of sin triple feature
>>94040032
I do hope someone does the Sword
>>94040032I'm looking forward to some sweet, sweet webcomic insanity - Crash Retold, that skeezy Lilo & Stitch comic where Stitch becomes a bishonen pedarest, maybe some Sonic the Hedgehog stuff...
>>94040975
Maybe a jump past the usual Sonichu stuff to recent craziness that most of us aren't as familiar with.
>>94041749
There was some fun stuff posted a few months back, whereSonic got AIDS and Shadow had a huge rack
>>94041901
Oh God yes. That was amazing.
And that backstory
>>94035513
Basically Scott Snyder.
>>94040032
Justice for All was already done. Where's Calexit?
>>94035603
This is very unSupermany for Clark to act.
>>94035603
I'd just like to point out that there was a Silver Age Superman story where Lex cured all diseases and gave that shit away like it was free ice cream. Granted, it was because Superman had made what was basically a universe-wide mind control device that made criminals good (Jerry Siegel had kind of a mania about that, and used it in some other stories) but still...
>>94035641
Yeah, some people should just stick to art.
