I was going to do 4 kids walk into a bank at long last, but it's storytime of pain weekend so here's one of the ultimate tumblr things they want into comics, a girl gang magical girl series. So let's read this comic that was made on a go pad. I already did Moontstruck, and after this 4 kids walk into a bank.

The comic that helped make the company was occupy comics. It doesn't help that new creators are well inducted in the Tumblr scene. They tend to have they same flaws like one page suspense I call it.

Let me actually get some commentary here. The narrator is one of the worst part of the series. It's very tell not show, like it talks about how we are supposed to feel about characters, which as a rule I say is terrible writing 101.

I'm sorry if you read my other threads I've been praising 4 kids walk into a bank.This has been a series of thread on black mas with me going through the worst first and I was going to do 4 kids as a good book they published but because of weekend of pain this got put up instead. After this one the next in the Black Mask Spotlight series is 4 kids which as of reading it should have gotten the Eisner. It would have deserved it.

Alright, outside of the perenial terrible 3, this is easily the worst comic of the storytime of pain.
Congratulations OP. I honestly thought my opinion of bad maho shojo imitations couldn't get any worse with those kate leth or whoever's shit. Hell this sack of crap makes Tokyopop's princess peach look almost readable by comparison.
So, thank you for the storytime, memorable in it's forgettableness, and I hate you very much.

where the fuck do I even begin? I know many times people complain about terrible pacing, but until I read this dog shit smear if a comic I never fully understood how bad pacing could be. there are zero pains taken to provide characterization aside from meaningless quirks and a flat zestless lesbian attraction that has no soul. the narrator is LITERALLY autistic and serves none of the purposes a narrator or central character should. characters enter and exit scenes almost at random and their motivations are inexplicable. the almost complete lack of backgrounds makes establishing movement, positions, or context almost impossible outside of a few establishing panels. large sections of relevant plot occur off screen. important plot points occur essentially at random. most notably the final powerup occurs for no reason that I could discern and had no build up at all. in fact nothing in this comic was built up.
