>Who's the metal guy in the next to last panel? Only Marvel Alexes I know of are Powers and Summers.
http://marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Alex_Ultron_(Earth-807128)
Alex Ultron was the ultimate evolution of the Ultron programming, hailing from several centuries in the future. He and his allies in the New Defenders returned to the present to find a way of saving the population of their dying world. The future citizens were ultimately transferred to Castle and Moy's Nu-World.
Time dilation caused Nu-World to progress through time far faster than the rest of the universe, and Alex Ultron evolved into a giant humanoid ship, leaving into space before evolving into an entire Planet Ultron for the Ultron Collective.

Ive had the collected edition for years, basically the story that got me back into Marvel.
I miss the Fantastic Four now though

Same here the marvel universe feels different without the first family.

How would you compare this run to Hickman's run.
It's the only run of FF ive ever read

>How would you compare this run to Hickman's run.
One the best millar non edgy work.
>>91801096
It's not even the family itself, there was one person always holding them together as glue, and now she's gone.
For those that don't know, I envy you

This is true.

I've always loved this two page spread, absolutely fantastic how nuts it gets.
Is it even possible to identify everything in it though?

>let him wear his armor that is full of literal wonders of technology and magic
Seems pretty stupid, Reed.
>>91803153
May he likes to play the cat and mouse game with Doom.
>>91803345
Probably. It still seems pretty stupid for Reed to do that, considering they've been playing cat and mouse on a universal scale for half a century.
>>91803367
Sorry, multiversal.
>>91803420
I bet Reed could be proud of what victor has become.
>>91803536
I think that's perfectly valid, sure. It's a little more honest than Batman and the Joker, as far as blood feuds go.

At least this is better than that one chick who only dated him for a piece of his skin. What issue was that one again?

Classic fucking Ben.
Thanks Preacher!

>doctor doom gets sent into the past to get eaten by dinosaurs while doctor doom has been at the side of the marquis for billions of years while the marquis destroys millions of universes, none the fucking wiser, and it isn't even a different one but the same doctor doom from the same universe, also they teabag uatu and drop him off in thailand
Holy goddamn fuck, this is off the rails. This is pissing on the rails' parents' graves while the rails watch.

>Nick Setchfield, SFX?
Why is the former editor of a British Sci-Fi magazine at the wedding?
>>91800432
Hope there's a twist on this, so OOC otherwise. And such a retarded retcon too.
>>91805226
I remember it getting a fair amount of threads back it first released. I still think it might be the most bullshit thing Doom has ever done.
>>91801110
Hickman's is much more of a long singular story. This is more classic Millar with short arcs and good variety. I think I like Hickman more overall, but this is good too. Gets too Millary sometimes though, Johnny and psionic's relationship for one
>>91802042
According to wikipedia it was just fucking dropped by other writers.
Fucking Marlel. I get having a high tier reality warping Doom running around is autistic as fuck, especially because he didn't immediately atomize Reed (though Millar's logic was sound) but could we at least get a story where it gets washed away for fuck's sake? Is this around the time Millar burned his bridges at Marvel? Maybe it was a fuck you from editorial?
>>91806718
Okay that was a twist and a fucking half. Like that honestly was some Trouble tier retconning madness. Not gonna say I disliked it though.
>>91807022
Same here. I liked the whole thing. Everybody needs teachers, and Doom is no exception. Being a Super-Genius doesn't mean you can glance at the sky and then the Holy Spirit will come down and fill your head with knowledge. Books alone won't turn you into DOOM.
As for the "paradox" thing, Thunderbolts sorta retconned it back in the Timebolts arc. They found Doom, he stole their time machine, and then I guess spent time hoping around becoming more powerful to face the Marquis.
I get that the whole "millions of years" thing was dumb, but I liked that one as well. it'd have made for a killer solo Doom book.

This is a pretty good story that doesn't really feel right as a part of Marvel canon, I'm glad it hasn't been referenced much by other writers and it likes to reference future events a bit much for my liking but I enjoyed reading it.
Thank you
