triple doubles twice confirms more despair at the hands of neo
Y'know I just realized that Flynt's weapon is good for huntsman duties. For one thing, he fights by blowing back enemies, which appears nonlethal when fighting people and can hold back grimm tides.
But the clincher is that his weapon is musical in nature, he can raise people's morale by playing some sweet jazz for everyone's souls, keeping them happy and diminishing further grimm attractions.
No matter what timezone you may be in its never a bad time for Ice Cream.
I like to have a bowl of cookies and cream whenever I'm watching the newest episode.
Would be another fun outfit for Neo to disguise as.
Like that music video with all those female marching band members in green.
I want Flynt to stick his trumpet in my vagina and blow on it as hard as he can.
Some anon posted a image and introduced me too Neapolitan cocktails recently during the last episode i really wish i had made one.
I really hope they do Neo back story at some point
The closest is probably Kinetic Noise, but that's because Bluecoats do great with electronics.
Definitely not dubstep, though.
It looks like the upcoming events are gonna be pretty heavy and will take up the rest of the volume, and Dr Light isn't likely to be able to rebuild within the few days at most in universe we have left in the volume.
It seems that, much like Weiss, we're gonna be penniless bums this hiatus.
The guy who makes them probably isn't spending a lot of time on them considering he pumps one out everyday
then again i don't know how hard SFM is so i could just be spouting bullshit
>Monty Oum - Rapid Deployment: Monty can create an animation at a blistering speed at the cost of technical quality.
>ZONE - 2D Imitation: ZONE can imitate the art style of almost any 2d work so far.
(all I got at the moment)
Force you to wear cute outfits as well?
Dicking around in Blender, it sure is quiet in here.
Bumping this thread back to life.
The writers of the media you played/watched/read/listened to is replacing M&K as writers. How does it fair ?
Yang will never force you to go to a Costume Party at a club dressed as
Roman and Neo
You know, Neo isn't a bad character, but she needs some more personality/backstory before she'll be distinct from Nui of Kill La Kill in my eyes.
You know, historically music was used to relay battle commands over the din of battle.
Well, Ruby still has to cry over her parts and ask Ironwood or Penny's Father (who needs an introduction) the inevitable "You can fix her, right? Tell me you can fix her!"
And even after they weld her back together and reboot/restore her brain from backup, there's the likely complication of corrupted memory to deal with before we have the old Penny back, if we can ever have the same Penny back at all.
Oh, and there's also that minor issue of
that pesky Grimm invasionto deal with.
In all seriousness, though, my prediction is that
Penny's chassis gets whisked off to safety in the next episode, almost certainly into the care of her father. We might get to briefly see her undergoing repairs in the last episode of this season or the first episode of the next, but when we next see her on her feet will depend on how badly current events upset the status quo.
It's entirely possible that Beacon will be overrun and/or be so heavily damaged that classes cannot resume until extensive repairs are done, and the RWBY team will be forced to leave Vale (at least for a while).
If that happens, we might not get to see Penny active again for an entire season or longer. Same thing goes if RWBY stays in Beacon, but Penny is taken back to Atlas for repairs (although I originally believed this to be less likely, the more I think about it the more I realize that it would make sense to keep her story from hijacking major plotlines).
But if things return to relative normalcy, and Penny undergoes her repairs in Vale, then I expect her to be back online in early Volume 4.
But shortly thereafter, she will either be put on a bus, or fade into the background...
It's 10:28PM, only three chapters left in Unit 2 Section 2A. Could I pull it off?
>is very agile
>blocks with an umbrella
>has a "sword"
>changes her outfit all the time
>is crazy as fuck

Here, have Neo's personality.
>The guys who did Dragons: Race To The Edge

ALL MY FUCK YES!
Would you play a Fire Emblem-style RWBY game?
Thanks anons, so far this is the last of Unit 2 Section 2A. I'm gonna do something different tomorrow involving Flash. (Assuming I don't get caught up in homework.)
It's 11:11pm, what a time to sleep.
Oy vey, I'm going to catch a lot of flak for this but
Better animation and some laughs but tumblr pandering goes up 2000%
>Maybe more Awakening in style.
>And also the shipping.
Do you guys think something vaguely similar to Metro 2033 could be an interesting concept in RWBY? Instead of remnants of Moscow huddled together after a nuclear holocaust it's people from an overrun city managing to hide from and occasionally fighting off the Grimm. I'm not quite sure how things like food and water would be handled, or if like in Metro there could be multiple factions, but I think it's an interesting if not entirely likely idea that maybe there could be small pockets of humanity (and their lesser cousins) living in a much more dire society.
Yeah, don't try to get too involved with canon events and characters. At most have them simply be background fodder like "A fan of Coco/Pyrrha" or "Once sparred with Yang, lost" or even "Glynda's therapist" if you're willing to stretch too hard.
What he means is that don't try to make your character too grandiose (or some other word). OP semblances, stupidly-designed weapons/appearances and heavy plot involvement (nearing Mary-Sue levels) are such bad indicators.
Well, if Cinder's keikaku goes well then you'll get to see it soon enough.
>>Not shipping characters with anyone you like.
The "anyone can support anyone" has led only to dramatically reduced support quality overall.
>>Not recruiting Roman and Neo through Spotpass.
>retconning character deaths for no good reason just to create more Self-Insertsexuals
>>Not making paradox babies through lesbian couples.
That's fair though
People read fanfics because they're already invested in the characters. They know what Weiss is like, what Ruby thinks of X or what Qrow would do in situation Y.
OCs don't have that. The readers won't even have a clear idea what they look like so it's hard to just give a shit either way.
Naturally, sometimes you need supporting characters - OCs are just fine there because it doesn't matter if the readers don't get invested in a witty salesman who won't be seen ever again.
OCs are only problematic when they start hogging screentime, even if they are well-written it's an uphill battle when there are a billion other fics out there which focus on characters the readers already care about.
Actually I once had an idea for an Etrian Odyssey-style game, where you'd have a part of four made up of anthropomorphic ships of RWBY and JNPR.
So you could have a team of White Rose, Bumblebee, Arkos, and Renora, but you couldn't have a team of White Rose and Ladybug, as both involve Ruby.
I had fun thinking up designs for a while.
The last piece of media I consumed was
Magic duelsso I'm going to take MTG as a whole.
Assuming we can cut whoever's writing Nissa's articles, everyone goes up a bit in how well they're written. This includes the villains, where I imagine Roman or Adam being written in entertaining first person like a certain demon planeswalker.
Also because Maro is obsessive about this stuff, Aura, Dust, Semblances, and everything else becomes clearly defined over night.
Also, we get updates where everyone is placed on the MTG color pie at the very end of every one of Maro's analysis of everyone's semblances.
Additionally, the writing goes up, because it's more evocative of the "Legendary creatures are the focus of the story" era instead of the "Gatewatching" era
Expect the tcg to come out the year after. I have faith that WoTC can handle it.
>Implying the Ursa didn't hijack a helicopter of their own..
>Implying Ursa aren't capable of tactical strikes
>Grimm are replaced with Phyrexians
>Grimm are replaced with Phyrexians
Wrong. They're turning RWBY into anime MTG, not combining them.
Cinder just becomes the Yawgmoth of the Grimm. Creating super grimm, causing endless despair to force more grimm to spawn, fusing faunus and grimm into Grimm Obliterators and shit like that.
>everyone but Atlas' face when
>A Worm word of God post
Oh god, Wildbow writing RWBY. That could only end well. Not for any of the characters involved but still.
Give her a kiss on the cheek and ask her what she wants for dinner
I don't, slivers are boring.
It's much more interesting to make them parrallel phyrexia. Cinder seems to be controlling them, trying to make them dangerous and such.
Actually, I take it back. Cinder is pretty much one of those Sliver-fags that think they're controlling the hive.
Wizards even has the art direction right for sliver-like grimm.
"Raven, Neo is dead!
The future will ba changed!
You've created a time paradox!"
No I mean a more consolidated area with more art. I can't for the life of me find good Cinder, Emerald, or Neo pics.
I wonder if it would be a good idea if Jaune realised that Pyrrha will most likely be unstanble and tries to rush to her side to calm her down. I imagine that she's going to be a wreck, and could possibly cause some damage without proper control of her semblance, so if he does get near to try to support her, she could end up hurting him again.
I may have written myself into a hole by making
Cinder and her Lackiesthe PCs, but I think we'll be seeing more of them soon.
They're the exact kind of characters that bad groups play as.
It's alright, his defense semblance will activate and he'll tank Pyrrha's magnetic storm (while she's going haywire) to reach her for a hug and kiss.
Then she "dies" by an arrow from Cinder.
>was playing Persona 4 : Dancing All Night recently
>suddenly it popped in my head the idea of RWBY: DAN and what it would be like
>RWBY characters busting a move to the soundtrack and remixes herein
How good of an idea would this be to have a RWBY rhythm game?
So guys what do you think the fights for the last 3eps will be?
Adam vs Blake & Sun/Weiss
Ruby vs Cinder (even if it's just a brief clash)
Pyrrha vs Cinder
Yang will get either a round 2 vs Nep or Mercury
are a given
A year and a half ago I would have said fuck yeah
Now not so much
That reminds me, a while back I wanted to write about the villains playing DnD and how obnoxious they would be at it.
Although Cinder would have been the DM that forced everyone to play in her game, with varying levels of excitement from her lackeys.
>Quantity over quality
>In pornographic SFMs
That's just absolute haram
Have some Yang porn I found on Paheal.
I want to spread Blake's legs and pleasure her with my mouth.

And that's how Bumblebee ended.
You think anyone else will die before this season ends?
I don't know Anom. Cats got barbs on their dicks, you might get a cut.

>Wow, I love the art!
>The fighting is incredible!
>Such amazing choreography!
>I love Rooster Teeth!

>I can't wait to see this!
>I bet the show's story and characters are going to be well-developed and intriguing.
Red and White were great, then they opened their mouths in Black.
>not wanting to take Yang's first bang yourself
I first watched it after I finished Season 1 I believe when I was catching up on it a couple weeks ago.
I want to write some RWBY stuff but I don't know where to start because I'm worried about messing up continuity and also in what context do I even write
>"Wow, this looks really cool, i hope they're able to bring this type of quality content consistently!"
>Someone considers that scene where Neptune is flirting with the NDGO girls and Weiss got pissed a very sad moment
Write non-canon stuff for Midori Gealfang.
That person is an Iceberg shipper and a fool.
Obviously shut off the Red trailer volume
Was last night, I did a few stories last week with Amber taking over Pyrrha and another with Pyrrha talking to a cybernetic jaune post maiden status if you're interested.
>i cant even understand what this is, some OC someone made?
It wasn't made by a single person. Basically what happened was someone said he hates the trope of the "eye hidden behind something", referring to Summer in the picture of team STRQ. Then someone asked him what else he didn't like, and based on that RWBYg created his anti-waifu.
Bully: The story of how CRDL got into Beacon
Make them interesting for everyone is my number one rule for making them.
Nobody is going to die, I promise you.
A Gouda cheeseburger from Wendy's
Make sure the name is a color, or invokes a color.
Think deeply about their personality. What do they believe in? What do they like dislike? Their thoughts on Faunus and White Fang? How do they act in battle? How does she or she talk? How are they when together with strangers or friends? What are their interests? What do they think about politics, religion, society, etc?
Their Semblance is supposed to be a manifestation of who they are, what they believe in, their past, etc.
I recommend avoiding weeaboo stuff, like Japanese names and weapons. Do NOT let the character use a Katana!
Don't turn your OC's into a main character. It's perfectly okay however to let them play a supporting role.
Make sure they interact with the canon characters, but don't let the OC become the focus. A story with no canon characters quickly get boring. No one will read that.
Avoid making a angsty, dark, edgy, emo, brooding character with a sad past. It's way overused.
Let your character have flaws. Do not turn him into a overpowered, flawless creation.
Avoid the color black as much as you can. Do not let it be the dominant color. It's overused.
Do not self-insert yourself into your character!
Tread very lightly if you want your OC to romance a canon characters. Make it realistic, take it slow and steady. Do not make the canon almost automatically fall in love.
The penis is pointing in the wrong direction. It needs to be flipped horizontally.
>sadly i lack the video editing skills to do something like this
well you could just come up with a short story about them and call that the trailer. it's what I plan to do for one of mine.
It is not enough that you are lurking at the beginning and end of every RT video to promote Lazer Team, now you just have to be in the RT general too.
Fuck, everywhere I go, you're there!
From what I have seen and read, RWBY fanfics with no canon characters, or where the canons act as secondary/minor characters are typically fics that get no followers, favorites or reviews. There are of course rare exceptions.
What if the OC is the main villain of sort of side story that takes place between episodes? They are a primary antagonist source for canon characters, but the storyline dosen't interfere with canon?
>the name is a color, or invokes a color
Assuming the number of people on Remnant is higher than even a thousand, it's silly to expect every single person name their kids or themselves after a color.
There are names like James, for fuck's sake.
>This entire video is an ad for Far Cry
>The obvious fire crackers in the ice and watermelon
Some of the older characters have less evocative names, but part of the name should evoke a color. Ironwood evokes a coloration.
But I think the rules also misses the rule that characters should evoke a fairytale or myth - though I suppose Coco probably thematically evoking Coco Chanel means that rule isn't quite as tight as the color one.
True, however it's still silly. Symbolism isn't limited to colors, some people may not respect tradtions, some people respect other traditions, some people don't care, some may have a purpose in mind. Like a boy named Sue.
>But I think the rules also misses the rule that characters should evoke a fairytale or myth
That's not really the case, some of the main characters do but a lot of the side characters have other thematic ensembles, like CRDL being birds, CFVY being deserts, etc.
I only have one picture of Banesaw. I'm going to eat dinner now. When I get back I hope to see some more art.
Sadly there aint much, this is probably the other classic pic.
In the end, how to write is still up to writers, though. With all potential things like terrible grammar, horrible inconsistensies, projected beliefs or insecurities, unexplored ideas, bias, and lots of other shit.
Teams have the ensembles, but, for instance, Cardin Winchester evokes the Cardinal of Winchester (related to Jeanne D'arc), and Velvet evokes The Velveteen Rabbit.
In fact, I think Monty himself said in like, Vol 1 commentary that people stopped trying to guess a lot of fairytale characters the characters in RWBY we supposed to evoke and he wanted people to keep thinking about it (which is why they didn't discuss the themes for everyone in JNPR right away - IIRC is the context)
It's also funny because Taiyang's full name means "Big Shining Dragon", but you could colloquialize it as "Yang Sr.". He named his first kid the equivalent of "Junior".
Really make me curious about Yang's relationship with Taiyang.
Just because they do doesn't mean everyone else should.
>having primary colors on clothes
Not everyone would have same preferences, and having them on combat clothing is risky, if not outright foolish sometimes.
Anon, sit down. We need to have a talk...
Oh, it is, but given that Yang is a girl, it's interesting. It probably says something about their relationship, or what Taiyang wanted their relationship to be.
It's also interesting that she's Yang Xiao Long, but Ruby is Ruby Rose, but we've been over this before.
Bright colors raise morale, which does more to repell Grimm than they would make you a target. Assuming Grimm can even see color, which they probably can't considering how color vision is somewhat special, and primates have way better color vision than even the limited range of animals that have it too.
Bulls don't react to red at all.
The lines between reality and dreaming become more vague and Jaune changes from a whiny underdog to a melancholy pseudo-philosopher and everyone is really lonely for reasons they can't put into words.
Also Pyrrrha has way more sex with him and it's really weird and maybe she's his mom?
No wonder he had so much resolve
That's true. There's also the point that since they are supposed to protect people, they can draw more attention to themselves.
So I guess it's all about preferences, objective chosen equipment for any hunter worth their salt. As for Grimm, it's hard to say anything, especially considering the whole forces of darkness thing. I mean, how long have they been around? They don't work on the same principles either.
I like to think that Grimm have the same 'vision' as Snakes, where they can kinda see, but their real senses are like how snakes can 'see' heat and scent, or in this case, emotions.
>Slow motion Grimm fights
>RWBY starring Dan
The show gets shit pacing, it gets repetitive and boring with terrible writing and lackluster performances, no character development to speak of, storylines get started and stopped with no rhyme or reason, no commitment to anything, the writers take out personal grudges on the characters, and the whole thing just shuffles along aimlessly without building towards anything or fixing any of its problems
So basically, nothing changes
>The guy playing Yang keeps insisting that she's a pure maiden
>They guy playing Blake is barely paying attention
>Nora is the DM's little sister
>She insists that he makes a character too
Her arms are just thin sticks, really? There's a reason we have two bones in our forelimbs. I would expect at least her legs to have a bit more structural support since they bear the most weight. I would also expect her pelvic joints to be a bit more solid-looking. Then again, I don't expect anyone in RT to know anything about basic anatomy or engineering.
Also are we just supposed to assume she has an artificial muscle layer or is it just the endoskeleton and fake skin?
Your friend/waifu, Yang is very upset. She's crying and babbling for herself. You must comfort her. Be careful though. In the vulnerable state she's in, there's a risk she might take things the wrong way. She might walk away, or even punch you.
So it'll be cool, cheesy, grimdark and crazy at the same time, then Ea comes along and things roll up and down until they finally crash, while local Kane like character will have great acting throught the entire series.
Fear is not real. The only place that fear can exist is in our thoughts of the future. It is a product of our imagination, causing us to fear things that do not at present and may not ever exist. That is near insanity Kitai. Do not misunderstand me, danger is very real, but fear is a choice. We are all telling ourselves a story and that day mine changed.
Warm hug, take her to sit down and just let her vent. Gently stroke her hair and tell her it'll be ok. Offer to cook her some food/hot drink/soup if they want, but otherwise, you're their shoulder right now, so keep it above the waist.
I'm not sure if we've gotten a straight up meta explanation for a lot of the theming (besides Monty thinks art should be more important in schools) but we've definitely got a bit of a thing going with fairytales now with the Maiden Story, and as somebody else pointed out a while back it's got a lot of cultural touchstones, many cultures can reach out and find a character who reflects their myths and childhood stories.
>We will never get a WoR explaining the Color War
Not feeling fear is dumb, not reacting to it is just plain wrong. I'm not saying to runaway but if you feel fear then you can temper your approach.
How happy do I have to make them?
Because fuck if I'm going to have to do some Persona levels of managing social connections to them.
But... Anon I can't brood.
>Because fuck if I'm going to have to do some Persona levels of managing social connections to them.
I'd buy a RWBY-themed VN/waifu simulator by day, dungeon-crawler or hack-n-slash by night game for a dollar.
Depends on how Grimm work, but you will cause accidents until you die. Or you will survive and achieve balance innawoods like some monk.
Maybe you can even make it worse, kinda like this.
>active aura and semblance always attract Grimm like a star, disrupts soul powers of others and dust or both
>goes out of control past certain point
>taking any kind of mental, physical or soul damage in even the smallest quantities activates both
>mastery of ridiculously small controlled bursts can draw them away to you
>the closer you're to death the stronger and powerful you are
So you would have to fight like a normal human for the most part with occasional incredibly risky power boosts if needed, while keeping yourself together even when you sleep. No fooling around, always controlling other people and staying sharp. You get hit, shit comes down, powers of everyone around destabilize, dormant powers awaken, Grimm randomly run around or even influenced by other semblances, rocks fall, everyone dies. So heroic you can't even kill yourself for good.
I'd be more up for a full on RPG, I'd still play that but I'd want a more exploration-y based game because Remnant seems like a cool world with lots of stuff to do.
That sounds kinda cool, like some reaver stuff.]
I'd dungeon crawl with a tream like that, go on a expedition with them to some ruins.
Probably get fukken ripped while doing it too since you're gonne be doing the most exercise of everybody.
What's the difference. Explain to a pleb if you would.
Well, at the very least, Grimm Eclipse is confirmed to hit up some as-yet-unseen environments.
But yeah, hopefully given that we know M&K (And Monty) have a fondness for games like that maybe eventually the RT game studio can grow large enough to do something like that where you can get a little player agency in. Probably have to wait until the story of RWBY is farther along though, so you can build something that either has a plot with the show or can avoid it completely.
Without like doing a cop-out and have it set completely in like, Mistral or something.
There are people that find the taste of blood arousing, as a bloodplay variant. Obviously, medical tests and good aftercare pretty much mandatory, and even then I wouldn't recommend more than a tablespoon or so.
Yang: "We're... robbing the biggest Dust bank in the country... why?"
Ruby: "To stop Roman from stealing it!"
Yang: "I am so going to jail for this."
Weiss: "Can... can I get something bigger than this knife?"
Ruby: "Nope, Myrtenaster is too distinctive a weapon for you, Schnee!"
Blake: "... let's get this over with. I dibs the cell with Yang."
I enjoy two things in my games anon.
The first is nice combat and story (we're not getting the latter with any RWBY game ever.)
Number two is exploration.
I want the Grimm Eclipse updates to come along soon if possible, new environment are a much needed breath of freash air.
RT likely will never have a studio that big though. RWBY is honestly their saving grace in terms of notoriety.
If they do then something with a nice feel to the fighting and a lot of freedom when milling around would be GOTY material.
It all makes sense now.
Sorry I couldn't hear you over all this rose-tinted bullshit going on over here!
>Turns out Pyrrha does write short romantic stories that are just blatantly her and Jaune.
>One day, Jaune finds one of these stories.
>Tries to pass it off as a hobby, and how she draws in inspiration from real life events of people. She's really bad at this.
>Kind of sad to watch.
>Jaune buys it however.
>He admits that she should stick to being a huntress, since what she's written is terrible, but he doesn't have the heart to tell her.
From thumbnail I thought it's SCP 173.
>Grimm are either a part of an outbreak from a long lost facility or a security measure to keep everything inside it away from everyone else
Ruby's good at on-the-spot moments of genius and coming up with insane tactics that have no right to work but they do.
But when it comes to planning anything in advance however, it's hard to find someone who fails like Ruby in this regard.
>Pyrrha writes terrible "friendfiction"
>They're all terrible cheesy reverse bodice-rippers where strong girls overpower sensitive noodly boys who are still somehow great at sex
>It starts as just an outlet for her sexual frustration with Jaune but she ends up getting in to it and writes about other people she knows
>Nora ends up redistributing them under pen name
>They're incredibly popular despite being objectively awful
>Jaune finds a PyrrhaxJaune story, asks her about it
>[Pyrrha sweating intensifies]
>Passes it off with a joke, nothing comes of it
>Pyrrha continues to suffer
>Myrtenaster to distinctive
>Implying a small cloaked girl in red with a massive Sniper-Scythe or Blonde Bombshell with Shotgun-Gauntlets aren't
How long till are favorite professional police officers catch them?
Already on the case anon
It'd be funnier if, since the robbers are clearly trained as Huntresses, Vale asks Beacon to assign some Huntsmen and Huntresses to the case, and JNPR ends up pursuing team RWBY-Payday.
This, I'm guessing.
Anything more than when we blew their mind with our situation room?
Then the question becomes, if Yang finds some of this stuff that Blake has, is she oblivious like Jaune, or would she pin Blake to the ground and start reenacting some key passages?
Even though we all know how that would end >>79128053
>mfw I was the one who requested a RWBY edit of that
That was a hilarious moment. :D
Huh weird, i'm not seeing it on their tumblr, what the hell was the post even about? I see a section with weiss and pyrrha but nothign else.
The next World of Remnant is a 15min video of RWBY's dorm taken by Nora's remote controlled camera.
Ahh ok, somehow I think the posts are separate from each other. Maybe they haven't seen the episode yet and we spoiled it for them somehow? nothing we've posted lately has been too out of the ordinary. Well at least for here anyway.
>Not editing it to say Zwei
