in my opinion, i prefer male artists over female artists because a male knows more about the male body, and male artists mostly draw musculine guys. But i dont mind women doing yaoi, never really bothered me.

Personally I care more about the quality of the art than the gender of the artist, and I've seen plenty of quality from both men and women. I also tend to prefer artworks that have some emotional depth and backstory, and I find that in general women are better at that than men, so I have a big problem with people who tell women to get out of male/male stuff.
