I understand the flaw, but I'm so used to artists of bara and yaoi who do this. draw one picture then just copy a series of them losing clothes and getting erections. Personally I don't mind if it's two or three different variations but I find it spam when they have like a hundred variations posted in the same thread. I see the flaw, but I'm just pointing out that... she is like 1 out of thousands of yaoi artists who do the same thing. I love and hate her work, mostly because all of the faces are identical, but I just put that down to it being manga/anime style, other than that I love how she paints, colour and detail and everything looks so smooth, but some of her art, the characters are so disproportionate, but at the end of the day she's not everyone's cup of tea. She tries to be hyper realistic but its still super anime. people will love her work, others won't. I'm the original anon, yes and it's called CG variations. These drawings are not supposed to be single work. I'm not complaining about how she drw bodies or faces btw. The problem I have with Sakimichan is the facial expression, they just stayed the same. They look... dead and out of context. This noctis work in particular, they'd look fantastic as a single work, but if she's gonna make a CG sequence maybe at least change his expression. He's hard and erected yet still the dead expression (that actually made sense in the SFW version), it looks ridiculous. That said, not all of her works are bad, some are certainly god-tier. In my case, I'm on the fence with her works.

I think a lot of the discontent with Sakami Chan's work is that it's not a case of her just "not being your artist"

It's the fact she's an artist making some 30 grand a week/month (haven't seen the Patreon in a while, could be higher or longer), and it's insanely apparent she has no basic understanding of art. She has no perspective, no form, no construction, no proportion study. The majority of her work consists of a self-taught Deviantart artist who's thrived off of filter and copy-style tutorials in order to shiny up the work. Anyone who's seen her speedpaints could easily make the adjustments required to better the overall result, especially when you're gaining that much money for your standard pin up copy-paste.

For those with more personal standing with her, she seems to have more interest in the Patreon than the commissions she takes, and she's pretty cold standing in communication.

I can understand why a lot of folks would sway away from her on that alone.

Been following her art for quite some years, same thoughts and views mostly. Nothing wrong with being self taught, but she should consider working on her weak areas, it shows in some of her art.

Can't blame her for focusing on patreon, anyone in her shoes would. That kind of earnings will take priority over most things for anyone.

But she is decently nice when it comes to communicating with her fans and she has not been aggressive about her leaked art so far despite debating about it.
