I would say letting three extra threads pass after you've gotten your fill if the character doesn't have much art and/or you haven't gotten too many fills for the character.

Once the character get a handful of fills, I would start waiting a few months. I know a character I like to request on here has gotten a few and I've waited a year now before requesting again.

Just try not to seem greedy, and you're fine.

Okay, so with my fears set aside, I'd like to make a request for another rare character from another kind of overlooked game.

My request is for Arashimaru from Muramasa Rebirth, tied up with his own chain/sickle, clothes ripped open to expose him, and optionally something using his ass; be it another ninja, a tengu, an oni, or anything else that would fit the old Japanese theme of the game. Now, I'm adding a reference, but please feel free to ask me for more. I would put several together, but I currently lack access to a stable computer. Apologies.

And to any drawfriends that consider my request, thank you so much; I truly am grateful to you all for taking time to fill these requests.

If you're a drawfriend, there isn't much we can do against you. You're gonna draw what you want to draw. We just don't want too many repeat requests.

As of late, we've had a lot of Spark requests and fills, and honestly, that's fine. Spark just got revealed and everyone is in a craze over him. Usually, we might suggest moving to the 'Spark thread' or 'Pokemon thread', but still, the craze is slowly dying down a bit. Plus, porn of him is being made for him ever hour. Still fine, though.

We just don't want requests repeated too often because:
1. It does take away from other requests who want their requests filled versus the same person getting their request again.
2. It often pisses drawfriends off and convinces them to neglect the repeated request, especially if they already fulfilled the request and feel their art is being undermined.

I would say a handful is 6, but at the same time, we can't control the situation where someone ELSE requests that character. But we can usually tell when it's the same person.

I understand. I delivered multiple things for same characters in previous threads but when they keep requesting them over and over, it feels weird, like, they just know you will deliver anyway.
This is why I decided to stop and focus only on characters that aren't repeated for the moment.

Other people deserve their chance to get drawings too but, yeah, we can't control if someone else wants to request a character, it only gets really obvious when they request an obscure character or a show nobody else was requesting before and suddenly all those reqs start popping up.
