I also just recently finished NTY and have been looking for more content, or at least a place to discuss the fucked up plot. I wish there was a wikia or something that kept track of all the plot points between syndicates/Melt/etc. because I kept losing track.

I remember someone saying they heard rumors about a fandisk, but I can't see that happening soon if they're working on a new game. Two things I'd love to see in a fandisk: bonus scenes where Haru finally bottoms for each guy. My biggest gripe is that I couldn't fuck Renren, so that needs to happen.

Anyone heard anything about parade's new Room No 9? From the little bit I've read, it's giving me Euphoria vibes. :|

I too only have a vague knowledge of what all the mafia business was. I think it was all fairly nonsensical, because it really takes second stage to the romancin.

But I think, in regards to Melt, [spoiler]it's a drug made by haru's HQ, but he comes out because theres rumors that someone is snooping/ trying to make and sell something similar? It's haru's job to discover all potential leaks or threats and to illiminate them.[/spoiler]

[spoiler]But as it turns out the counterfeit recipes are defunct. The recipe for it was with shinseigawa. (not sure if I spelled that right. it was the group Aniki was with) and once all that was dealt with Haru didn't really need to do anything else. But he honestly spends a lot of time messing around because this is a vacation to him.[/spoiler]

I'm not sure, but i think it was linked to how Inui was acting as a supplier of materials for Melt, and how Inui eventually planned to get revenge for his son by swapping out the materials or maybe recipe for Melt (making it poisonous) Haru Learns this in his route, and normally it would be his job to kill Inui for knowing too much about HQ, but he likes him too much and he blames his findings on other people, so yeah. I only did the Hiroshi route since he's the only guy that I liked. At first I really liked the game but I didnt like the end.

At first the protag was surprinsingly funny and sweet. I liked it vs the other protag from other games (usually a guy with a hidden power, the children of prophecy or something dumb like that).

The whole dynamic built with Hiroshi was sweet and cute, there was the typical cute moments of discovery, the feeling moments from the guy backstory, the sex scenes (I was surprised at the number and variety of them) plus a story quite okay for what the game is.

And now the ending...
So now the protag is some sort of hitman who has no feeling? And the good ending is just leaving and maybe coming back to fuck Hiroshi's ass. Could've been so much better with just a "I leave my old life behind for the man I love".

The "No thank you" button was just...useless.

I prefer bad ending 1 to be honest, in it the protag says he love hiroshi, dies and we get closure.

The only good thing from the good end was the sex. (maybe too much yelling even for me...but I like the fucking into unconsciousness thing)

In the end I recommend, especially if you like multiples guys (ie bara) but be aware that there's quite a few flaws that you might hate a lot. (some could say its part of the experience being mad the protag and its kinda true? A good experience nontheless)

So there you go my opinion.
Also why the fuck cant we fuck Renren.

As for me, I played Maki's route first, and I actually really liked how they dealt with Haru. In my experience, most yaoi eroge that isn't just fluff, is super 'edgy' and it was refreshing to have a protag that lent so much comedic relief to the honestly pretty dark subplots. But I went through the whole 1st playthrough thinking "come on, just what is up with this guy, i wanna know his backstory!" Then the reveal that he was an assassin at the end felt very interesting. Because one thing i generally don't like about visual novels is getting 100% becomes very tedious with all the repetition. The hidden text + the new perspective really made reading nty a 2nd or 3rd time much more interesting.

That said, the way all the routes ended with haru going back to HQ is very unsatisfying.

This game needs an expansion. One with actual closure for the good ends, and maybe bonus route with Renren. I think it'd be really interesting to read another story, only this time Haru is trying to escape from HQ permanently? Maybe once his old man dies.

you don't necessarily get more scenes but once you know what haru knows (e.g. assassin stuff) there's more blow bubbles of his interior thoughts. every route gets a bonus "solo thoughts" scene w/ the love interests too, but they're not always eroge. there's one with hiroshi where he masturbates and fingers himself.

hiroshi ended up being my favorite route because it's the sweeted, although i love ryu too. maki and pops just kinda leave me feeling... empty.

But if that were literal it wouldn't make a whole lot of sense for him to be put through those weird "kill or be killed' scenarios. So your point puts a lot of things in context for me. Like... I always knew Haru was fucked up, but I guess I'd assumed that was simply because he'd essentially been a victm of human trafficking from a young age, and had to kill other people to survive? If you replay after doing the true end you have scenes in the taxi between haru and a guy from HQ.
I only did the Hiroyuki route (and skipped to get the new things in the route after true end)

I think one time he says that if he dies/escape, someone else will just take his spot and will be a lot more cruel than him.

If you're interested in getting more of Haru's past I do recommend playing through the other routes. Most people recommend playing

My problem with most VNs is that they move too slow and are more drama-orientated rather than sex-orientated. Not saying that drama is bad, but getting teased and having to read through hours of blahblah is daunting when you're aroused and ready to just get to the sex scenes already. I guess this is why I enjoyed Hadaka Shitsuji.
