Coming out on Top costs about $15 and has some pretty good writing and the scenes and you can customize the body hair which is neat.


This game cost $20+ depending on which version you decide to buy. The game can get buggy at times, some spelling errors here and there, only the main character and Thomas have decent voices. Everyone else sounds like they were just reading a script. I'm not really a fan of the main character's dialouge and you never see his face like ever.

If you like the art style then maybe you should buy it but if not and you're just looking to fap then wait over the next few days for the CG's to slowly come out. Sex scenes are written decently, moans are decent but the sex scenes go by too quickly. I didn't really like talking to most of the characters since it felt bland.

Yes. When I copied my activated game to another PC, it asked for re-activation. It's not like it's hard to identify a PC anyway in the age of the botnet.

The activation process had some effort put in it. Usually, authentication is just handing over the serial key in clear text to the server and the server answers if it is valid or not. This one seems to hide the key in something else.

The game file also had its last modified date changed so there might be something else provided along with the response for authentication. More game logic or something. That's probably one of the issues why the old cracked beta kept on crashing.

Bought it, played it. It had potential, but agreed, the development held it back. There are still glitches in the final product, and the entire affection mechanic doesn't work (if you get a player above 100 it doesn't count as 100, which is specifically needed to progress elements of the story.)
It's redeemable if that gets reworked though. I love Thomas, partially just because his voice acting was the best, and interacting with the staff is fun even when you aren't horndogging. The central business sim part of it is too easy, but I don't feel like making that harder is all that important for the game's improvement.
Also, Richard and Chris's voice acting is terrible at inflicting actual emotion. And at least with what I've seen with Thomas, the dramatic backstories are a bit much.
Anyway, it's sad when a game feels unfinished, and that's this game's problem at the moment. Pray for updates.

You know what really made this game worse? That COOT came out before it. That game really raised the bar and I don't think there will ever be a dating simulator as fun, witty, and hot as it.

coming out on top is much better than super health club desu its more fun i especially like it now that theyre adding bonus dates (i think theres going to be roughly six more)

i agreed. it kinda sucks to go through all the hard work on a date just to get a shitty CG. i know some people disagree, but i like scenes where you subtly get to decide whether you'll top or bottom (i think amos's + phil's routes both had these). for a game called "coming out on top" you unfortunately come out on bottom most of the time. i'm still waiting to be able to fuck alex.

I chalked it up to perspective, but either way, I didn't notice it. I'm happy with the art and gladly would throw more money at whatever the next game it is. I actually wanted to finish COOT unlike a lot of vns I've played.
