For me it was http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-231
The horrible implications of 110-montauk, and the letter from the 05 confirming everyone's fears really got me, just the fact that they had to do these things to a young girl to keep from her giving birth to some eldritch horror.
What skip got you guys into the wiki?

These are soooo interesting but wtf are they?????
>>19582537
Basically every SCP on the website is an anomalous object or being being kept in containment by the fictional SCP foundation, to protect the world from the paranormal and generally strange. you can get a more detailed explanation at http://www.scp-wiki.net/about-the-scp-foundation

I like SCP now that they've cracked down on the autism and have some quality control.
>>19582570
Cool, any particularly good ones you'd recommend? I'm fascinated with this website rn
>>19582612
Yeah I'll get a list for you, hold up

tried to keep these all within the first couple series, keep in mind this is nowhere near even a comprehensive list of all the good ones in those. The wiki is fucking huge now, both in actual SCP's and in universe tales and AU's. so you got enough content to keep you reading for years, I know I have. Currently there is about 3000+ SCP's and most of them are quite good. Quality control on the website is pretty good so bad articles don't usually stay up for long, with the exception of ones that are just popular for whatever reason *cough* 173 *cough*

Thanks dude. Never really been into this sort of fanfic-type writing but the way this is set up and presented is amazing. Happy asf that you made this thread
>>19583075
Yeah no prob man, the SCP foundation is a niche thing I've loved for a long time, and its always nice to get new people into it. If you wanna read some stories Id recommend http://www.scp-wiki.net/resurrection
Its a resurrection of the original storyline. It does require some knowledge but it has some good backstory, and there's a plethora of other canon hubs to look at if that doesn't pique your interest. Anyways enjoy, And Secure. Contain. Protect

After you get into it and get better understanding of lore you HAVE to read "the cool war"
>>19583553
Oh fuck yeah dude, the whole Acidverse is one of my favorites
>>19583667
I cant wait to see where it goes.
>>19583667
Is there an order of reading in acidverse?
Or can i just read what i want first, because MC&D are my favourite GOI and i wanted to read them first, but i wont if it spoil anything
>>19583939
The cool war is the only story in acidverse that's done, it hasn't been updated in a while but the concept and the writing that's there is really good. Just hope the author comes back soon.
Dreams I had. Praying for someone's support or acceptance and I was, later I found out, SCP-001 The Gate Guardian; little did I know I didn't need to pray and was altogether doing it to the wrong person.
Another dream I was another SCP and asked to approach SCP-001 and said, "No. Just no." Because I pretty much figured it would be the death of that SCP. Still haven't figured out if I was that SCP or just influencing them because at the start of the dream I was asked what I could of done differently.
Is there very much that isn't autistic fanfiction tier in series 3 and 4 or should I just stop reading now?
When did they add series 4?
Yo check out this SCP animation
its actually pretty good, shit reminds me of something I'd see on adult swim

I'm actually quite liking series 4 so far.
http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-3799
That's one of my favorites from the ones I've read
SCP-300 and SCP-32 are ones that gained my interest
>>19585288
I forgot SCP-343 too
>>19585288
Ah yeah, 32 is quite good I think. Really threw me for a loop the first time I read it
