I was 16 when this happened and not into conspiracy theories or anything like that at the time, but one thing really stood out to me and puzzled me that day. How could a plane headed toward the pentagon not be shot down? Why was it allowed to crash into the building?

So this might be a stretch but what if the planes were a double blind?

What if there were multiple missle strikes on the US and to cover that up to not make us seem vulnerable to outside forces, the government or military or whatever dive bombed two civillian jets into the towers and said "oh yeah there are these two planes in two other completely unrelated places"?
