What I've witnessed myself (but cannot prove, and am not certain of either as I didn't have the time to reality check):

Large dogs, the size of a pony with mottled grey / black fur, usually a few minutes before thunderstorms. I'll see them out of the corner of my eye, and when I turn around, they're gone. When I spoke of them to some older people, I heard that there are local myths about wotan's hunting dogs scouting ahead for the wild hunt. the wid hunt is said to ride during thunderstorms to mask their sounds, so the parts fit.

a man-shaped creature in blue overalls with pale skin and white buzzcut, around twice the height of the average man - only saw him once, for a few seconds. Distance was around 200 yards. No clue what he was.

indistinct, yellow-eyed shapes running alongside my car in the woods at night (mostly on foggy nights - if not for the eyes, i'd assume my eyes were playing tricks on me). not aggressive or anything, more like guards. first time I saw them, I was frightened nonetheless. Interestingly, the roads i've seen them on are all old roman roads. according to pagan folklore, those roads (namely, the "old paths") are protected by the spirits of the land.

Things i've only heard about:

doppelgangers. Some aquaintances of mine told me they'd seen me coming out of the woods in camo pants and jacket with a large knife on my belt and wanted to know why I hadn't responded to their greetings. Not only had I been a hour's drive away at the time, but also I never owned any camouflage other than a poncho.

a pale and blackhaired girl of 5-10 years that shows up in camps in the middle of the night and asks for a drink. if she's given one, apparently she'll tell you about your death like it's the funniest joke ever (though one guy also claimed she started crying instead). I don't know if her prophecies come true (they mostly refer to death in old age, and the ones I heard about were all in the last 5 years, so they wouldn't have happened yet).
