What does /x/ think about the alignment of Canaanite Gods or Ancient Gods in general? Primordials like Kek as well.
Yam, Hadad, El, Yahweh, Moloch etc. What do you think about their alignments and the history of the bible excluding them all from existing in favor of monotheism? If we hypothetically believe in this pantheon do you think Islam, Christianity, and Judaism all worship different Gods from it?

Moloch, god of fire, is constantly called evil in general. Hadad is demonized lately the same way Set was later demonized in Egypt. El is called a bull as well in some descriptions which is closely related to Moloch.
What is /x/'s opinions of this pantheon? What about other ancient gods or pantheons?

You know the jews and bible descend from Canaanite religion right? Yahweh and all their terms are from a pantheon. The jews just decided on one to worship.

No, the "Jews" brought their religion from a place called UR, not a place called Canaan.

They are just Canaanites that split off. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ancient_Canaanite_religion#Pantheon
Yahweh and all the terms for the hebrew god are from canaanite religion.
The Israelites and their culture, according to the modern archaeological account, did not overtake the region by force, but instead branched out of the Canaanite peoples and culture through the development of a distinct monolatristic—and later monotheistic—religion centered on Yahweh.

>he doesn't know that Yahweh is El
Wow.
Ur was a city in Sumeria. The only likely link between Judaic beliefs and Mesopotamia is likely their exile in Babylon, which is where they would have probably obtained much of Genesis.
Seriously though, dude. Micha-el. Gabri-el. Ezeki-el. Isra-el.
He's Canaanite, dude.

No offence, but I think you are a a little confused anon.
Perhaps if you invested a little more time in studying the religious practices of the region throughout the ages, you would arrive at a much different conclusion.

About the time the Old Testament was rewritten (in my opinion of the given facts, oral traditions were reorganized and the OT was written actually for the first time) -- about the time , historically, coinciding with the book of Ezekiel -- is when YHVH began showing up in archaeological records.
Guess what? In its earliest iterations, YHVH had an asherah -- in this case used as a title.
Israel was not what the OT describes it as, but a conglomeration of tribes and nations. The law was created at that time to unify and govern them.
Akhenaten was Moses. The Aten is the God of Moses. The Aten had no image; they beleived the sun is the embodiment of God. El had a face, but much of the lore around El remains in the OT as God. Tales of the Aten and El were combined into YHVH.

>do you think Islam, Christianity, and Judaism all worship different Gods from it?
The history of these faiths does not really support that idea. The Qu'ran and New Testament both assume the reader has a pretty solid knowledge of the Old Testament and see themselves as continuations as such. All three also have a very strong bent towards rejecting all other gods except the one God.

they are evil and those who worship them will meet their justice soon

>you are wrong
>I won't explain or say why

If you say "they are evil" it implies you believe they exist. Why would say a God of Storms have to be a demon? Could it be an angel or some other misinterpretation?
Seems like The book was deception to make people forget the pantheon.

Yes but all three are almost completely different. Old Testament God vs Jesus vs Muhammad are very different teachings. All are El?
