What if aliens come from the other side of Earth? As is our case, they may not yet have developed the necessary technology to neutralize the immense water pressure on the ocean floor, so they reach us through space travelling around the planet.
Their big heads could very well be the result of an inverse gravitational pull which makes water build up on the upper body.
