"Backwards masking" was still a hot topic when I got my firrst pro sampler back in 1996 (it was an Akai S2000). Acquired the CD, then sampled the two lines:
"Yes, there two paths you can go by, but in the long run,
It's not too late to change the road you're on".
I reversed the waveform, in order to hear the results but was not convinced.
Christian fundies were claiming it says: "Here's to my sweet Satan, the one who watches over says that his power is Satan".
I call bullshit, but the Judas Priest suicide case is another matter.
