What the fuck /x/
>>19554779
what am i supposed to see?

Maybe the fact that the storm centers are only over major cities?
Okay now that's spoopy
Is HAARP to blame?
>>19554779
>asking /x/
Naturally like everyone else here I do actually have a doctorate in whatever the fuck that image means but... Crazy thought, sorry this is nuts, bear with me...
What are fucking scientists and meteorologists saying?
I'm spooped
>>19554918
this is going to sound stupid, but
the bitter cities have more stuff in them, which aggravates teh clouds and causes them to condense faster
its the same reason why rain always happens on one side of mountains, but not the other
reddit spacing
>>19554918
>bum fuck virginia
>major city
Ok
Where's the source, you faggot OP? One of /x/'s problems is that its userbase is too faded to fucking ask for proofs.
>>19554998
Says weather.gov fucktard. I just went to the site and confirmed it. A little more diffuse than in that photo, but it is strange.
Miami, e.g., is a major city and has no major activity, but it's not currently raining there.
>>19554998
>too faded
nigger detected.
>>19554961
nope
>>19554779
Not spooky at all. I saw this once a few years ago and it freaked me out. Radar stations turn up their detection settings in clear air and pick up particulate in the atmosphere. Notice it only happens where there aren't existing thunderstorms.
>>19554779
explain
Doppler stations don't form complete coverage over the contiguous US.
Earlier reply is correct. Radar towers appear as round precipitation clusters on weather maps. they are not indicative of actual rainfall.
>>19555029
>>19556791
okay shill
>>19554779
Here is the radar as of recent:
>>19557556
BUUUUUT here is the current radar according to Wunderground.com
>>19557576
I still see them in yours
>>19554779
>can't read a weather radar.
>>19557643
literally nothing
>i can still see them
wow kill yourself man. learn how radar works.
>>19557663
I work IT at a university and I asked an enviroment all engineering professor what was up with this;
"Radar clutter."
Well, guys
>>19555027
Thats exactly what HAARP would say!
>>19554779
massive M class solar flares happened and the first one reached earth today. it bitch smacked the upper atmosphere
the effect is basically the end result from the domino effect the solar flare started. that and the earth quake. the solar flare deposited a sea of sob atomic particles and a displaced EM energy. the EM energy struck the earths magnetic field and energized the dynamo at the core. the particles basically acted like buck shot and were moving to fast to be diverted by the magnetic field. on collision the transfer some kinetic energy and there is also loss in the form of heat. the thermal exchange caused a purge of excess moisture in the atmosphere lower with a pressure change that was just a blip but it kinda bitch smacked everything
>>19554779
Now you realize that weather is controlled by human emotions
Do you think Doppler systems pick up more shit the closer that that shit is to the actual radar system itself?
Hey guys. So I'm seeing circles in the radar picture. Don't think anyone pointed that out yet. I might be seeing things though
>>19559734
>seeing circles in the radar picture
my mind is fucking blown by this
>>19559699
Id expect them to account for such things, but yes. The coverage area is far bigger than those spots though, so this still weirds me out.
The fact that a huge percentage of the country cant see the sky its pretty strange.
>>19554779
I'd venture to guess that's where the radar is located and the cloud cover is right on the edge of being mappable. Closer to tower is positive, further away is negative.
>>19559835
I'd need to see an overlay map of major radar towers to be sure
HOLY SHIT ARE THOSE RAINCLOUDS
>LITERALLY SHAKING
>>19559333
trips confirm
>>19554779
This is know as the "Doppler Effect"

>>19554996
Yeah I was gunna say the same thing. If this was the case all of Washington DC and metro area would be taken up, or at least richmond.

>Gives a reasonable and logical explanation
>okay shill
Jesus Christ, I'm used to people being stupid on /x/, but at least in the past people tried to defend their side. Now it's literally just a bunch of brain dead idiots
>>19554779
>what is ground clutter
With no high SNR return ratio from precipitation, the softer signals of ground clutter, terrain, buildings, etc. show up in an overall circular pattern around the radar site. FFS, it ain't rocket science.
