Do there exist people/things/places that are capable of erasing knowledge of themselves from people? Thoughts that we cannot think? Things that can divert all attention away from themselves?
I don't know of any things like this, which seems to suggest they don't exist, but obviously I wouldn't know about them if they existed either. How can we know?
This could be either:
>psychological, through conditioning, like the "fnords" from Principia Discordia
>chemical, using drugs that erase recent memories, administered by whoever's covering these things up
>supernatural
>biological, programmed into us by evolution or whatever created us
