First time I went through I made a sort of subspace bubble that popped out where I was and popped back where I wished to go. I ended up in an astroid belt and it was cold as fuck. They seem organic and yet have integrated electronic equipment and are very psychic and probably been that way long enough that they only communicate to each other in that manner?

They are incredibly intelligent and precise but somehow they have devolved in their physical characteristics. It seems like they are looking out for our development because they have either plateaued or some kind of mistake occurred where they are no longer under selection pressure and so none of them are really evolving or becoming stronger/smarter. Maybe it was because they became too reliant on technology and something pushed them to become sterile or uninterested in perpetuating their species.
