"There is a universe/timeline for every possibility"
ok
What about a universe where someone made a gun and used it to destroy this universe?
I could see that happening to a universe that represents this one in a pocket timeline, but it isn't happening in this timeline.

What about a timeline where that gun was created and shot at this timeline RIGHT NOW

Mother of god
According to some research Ive stumbled across, some physicist believe time is not linear but instead the past present and future happen simultaneously. If that is so- good luck with the gun thing

Just theories
How about we are all actually one being but with split personalities?
>>19535368
We are the neurons of a single brain
>>19535289
There would still be other unaffected timelines

The bullet can be deflected, timelines also can't "kill" other timelines
>>19535353
Yes, everything occurs as a "present moment of Now"

We are all the living cells of a great universe
But if you destroyed the universe/time that would erase you, ABC everything leading to your existence- therfore you would never exist to destroy it in the first place. Sounds life a paradox to me.
Space-time is... weird.
But if you make a weapon able to destroy a timeline what is more sure to happen is that the weapon would break a possible connection between the targeted universe and the weapon's universe AND at the same time create a timeline where it wasn't fired
