According to David Icke, we are in a holographic universe receiving a false reality from Saturn that is beamed at us full-throttle from the Moon. And if we were not living in that reality, we would be self-actualized.
So is the idea of the universe/earth being a school just a lie? What about the concept of the universe being consciousness discovering itself? Isn't that the reason we suffer and are here?

I see what you're saying. But I'm a truth whore so I'll wanna get close to the bottom of this anyway. We know people who think Obama was just a good guy tryna do something good for the country, so there is a spectrum of truth and we can approach as close to the light as we can.
I think that maybe we are getting a lot of information from Saturn but I don't know why he portrays it as a bad thing or evil.
