PSA: dont save as JPGS.
dont use digital zoom (zoom all the way out).
dont use flash outside.
basicaly due to the way jpgs are saved
the color of a pixel can only from the nearest 8-32 pixels
so you cant zoom or enhance them at all
i learned of this on /x/
this is a new conspiracy… i dont think anyone has shared this before

Then why have they been allowing phones to save in RAW format recently? Seems to me if a ufologist, or paranormal investigator or someone around a happening would have one of the phones capable of doing so, yet not one has taken a photo and not one has come forward? Come the fuck on

Though you are right people shoudln't save as JPGS It's not a conspiracy, it's just how the technology works. In order for it to be such a widely spread format as well as saving up space, it has compression, which means a loss in information and quality is degraded as it moves spaces. The reason why those photos are such low quality is because they are fake, or as a result of several factors leading to the worst shot imaginable.
tl;dr most people are awful photographers and the rest are liars.
