Evola or one of the members of the UR group mention something like this in his "Introduction to Magic." It isn't luciferian edgelord, but it also isn't very religious in nature. He says there are basically 3 paths in personal deveopment: the way of the mystic, monk, and magician. The mystic aims for union with the source within himself, the monk reaches out to something greater than himself, and the magician views the ideal form of himself as a sort of deity. He elaborates on each. The last is psychological in nature and doesn't require belief. Meditation would probably be the best route.

Another book in a more psychological nature: Psycho-Cybernetics by Maxwell Haltz, it talks about of how to use the subconscious mind as mechanism to build the conscious mind/personality in any way you want. He doesn't use the term subconscious mind like a second and mysterious mind but an automated mechanism of the brain. Other tutors say that this mechanism also can affect reality.
