I have a religious and/or philosophical question for you specialists on here. If a person wanted to worship/revere many gods, is that looked at badly by either mystics or the typical outlook of divine beings themselves? Silly example; if you revere Kek, Wakan Tanka, and Shiva- are you just "god shopping", or is that essentially just your personal pantheon, not really different from any other pantheon of wildly different gods from the same place, time, and culture (i.e.: Rome or Scandinavia)?
Worded differently, can a man revere many different deities and still be cool with them, or do they, and the spiritual world, hate that shit.

I will galdly add some of my experience to your thread, brother.
It is much easier to do work of the religious kind when you focus on one pantheon. Personally, I practice *interpretatio romana* - Mercury (roman) = Hermes (greek) = Odin (norse) = Veles (slavic).
So, in the end, I'm just a Hermes worshiper. Praise Veles!

Doesn't Hinduism have an equivalent god as well

Offerings of faygo to my neden hoes. Because high school was littered with bad music.
Protip: anyone who has ICP gear or tattoos are being judged by everyone around them. To hilarious effect.

Roman's and Greek's worshipped multiple Gods depending on certain festivities, certain problems etc. However as a Priest or Priestess of a certain deity I believe the rules were very different.

There are no specific messenger gods in the Vedic pantheon that I'm aware of. Garuda - Vishnu's man-bird mount - sometimes carries messages for him, as does Narada Muni and Hanuman (for Rama). Agni the fire god in pre-Upanishad times was considered "the mouth of the devas" in both communication and in accepting sacrifices.
As a god of boundaries, Ganesh can be seen as a parallel to Hermes, and Ganesh's "remover of obstacles" is sort of similar to Hermes' traits of cleverness and a bit of trickery. There are also those who consider Hermes a cognate of the mythical Sarama, the "mother of all dogs" that helped Indra recover some divine livestock. Sarama is barely prominent now, but two of her epithets were "fair-footed/quick" and "the fortunate one."

The gods with a little g are below the God with a big G.

Sometimes we call them the Archons.
And the the One is the Aeon of Aeons.

Absolutely true, however we are stupid fools compared to the gods.

So if you're not a priest or priestess, you're good?
>>19528100
Priests are ((married)) to the god and have taken upon themselves, or ((have been given)) tasks & responsabilities.
For example, my Lord is quite keen on oaths. I have been an oath-breaker and I have been ((punished)) with ill health and other misfortunes. I don't mind, I am fine now anyway. Not a priest though, just a mystic worshipper.

If you're a nu-Ager you can blend as much shit as you want.
From a real religious perspective it's probably best to take one actual path. That doesn't mean you can't still find the insights of other systems valuable, but you should have one core belief.

Yes.
There is only One God, and He is The Creator of All Things, That Beyond Which Nothing Greater Can Be Conceived.
So ask yourself this: would you be upset if your beloved life partner decided to open up to and fuck another person? To let them into your sacred space only for you two?
So would God.

Saints aren't gods, and I'm not catholic.
