So I am currently watching some japanese cartoon right now (pic related) and somehow remembered that I actually dreamed this whole scenario years ago in highschool when I was on a college dormitory watching this specific gay cartoon. Is this what they call deja vu? What does this mean if I experienced deja vu? Am I just delusional?

Deja Vu happens when your mind puts something you saw into memory before telling you that you saw it.

but is OPs particular case an example of deja vu?

Deja vu is the multiverses at work it means that in some alternative time line you have done the same thing that you have done. Which creates a sort of memory smash in this time line. My only advice is focus on these dreams more they will help you in the long run, because their is a huge possibility that you died in that universe, allowing you to collect those memories. Our failures are trying to find us let them it is the only way we can wake up now.

Interdasting. Can you link me to readings about deja vu? And no please not the wiki links posted on the sticky
There isn't an explination for deja vu. Scientific or spiritual.

I don't have one, I just know because I have dreamed of me offing my self literally in every place I have lived. The only thing I know is that this time line becomes more and more important every day we wake up and breath, our past lives are trying to find us they don't want us to fail. Don't misunderstand past life these past lives I speak of have Lived This Life we are in, they dont want you to fail. They are you and you don't want to die your will to wake up tomorrow is going to progress you forward.

Schrodinger's cat might explain deja vu though just like what >>19520115 is trying to say

The best part about all of this is that people are not waking up by fluke your failures are forcing it upon you. If you want something close to what may be happening watch the old movie the one. Where a man consumes all possible versions of himself to become the strongest version of himself.

But The One was fucking ass. I fucking hate that movie

Yea but I think it was closer to what is happening to everyone right now. But it leaves to question that it may even be possible some badass version of yourself may try to take you over to live this life. That thought alone is beyond unsettling.
