Like Katrina, Harvey was an artificially created storm to devastate the south. The idea to create chaos is to soften any potential force of opposition if there ever was a second Civil War or a Revolution, seeing as the southern states tend to be more constitutionalist.
They are getting better at geoengineering and weather terrorism. Sandy's damage to New York was relatively minor in comparison and was used so nobody would suspect anything beyond climate change or natural formation because "why would they attack their own New York 'stronghold'?"
Wildfires are getting more frequent and devastating. Sunlight is getting more intense. Temperatures are rising. They are creating fear and hate through identity politics and chaotic weather conditions to keep everyone afraid, angry, and divided. They are feeding their lords with out violence and negative energy. Don't let the demons win.
