Almost everyone gets possessed at some point in their lives. Possession is less binary and more like a percentage. How possessed are you? The worse it is the less you have in the way of free will. 100% possession means you've essentially been replaced. You're almost guaranteed to run into possessed people every day, you just suck at telling the difference.
