found my old /b/ folder
me and my friend found these on google earth back in 2010 and I never posted them. I tried going back but didn't save the location. I think on the top left it says clayville nevada?
I still have no idea what they were, we were guessing something to do with mining?
Looks like god damn alien artifacts or some shit, will post zoom out too
Yo dude, post this also on /b and reddit. Maybe someone knows anything about it. Strange stuff man
This is spectacular! Bump!
got a thread on /b/ but I'm a faggot that doesn't remember how to direct to other threads...maybe this

I just wish I saved the coordinates, regret it about as much as not finishing setting up a bitcoin miner back in 2010 too
Throwing this out there. Found it while looking foe OP's.
There is no Clayville, NV as far as I can tell.

that's funny you post amargosa same friend and I went there. They say it's haunted, there's a lady named Marta Beckett that lived there her whole life basically and painted the whole hotel and did dance and stuff. The hotel is popularly known to be haunted and we got to go back and photograph the parts that weren't restored.
/b/ found clayville NY
>>19504061
I'm gonna post some photos of the amargosa hotel cause I think you guys may like some of them
there are a few abandoned buildings around the area too that people wrote in and stuff
>>19504128
Awesome man!
>>19504106
said this in the other thread, but doesn't the terrain in the second photo make it look more like a dry area or a desert? doesn't really look like upstate NY to me, and i've been looking around Clayville, NY and there isn't really anything that looks like that.
>>19504138
I agree not upstate NY.
>>19504128
Is this a military area?
Some of the crop areas look very strange.
Pic related
my friend says he remembers it being in the northeast corner of california
>>19504170
That's a common thing in Nevada , they're circular because they have a long arm that rotates around the field to water them.
this was where she danced for most of her life, the ceiling and everything was painted

it's trippy how much our infrastructure literally looks like a grid when you see it from a plane
>>19504184
Yes I know that, but theyre usually pretty solid green or tan. I live in dairyland amongst the farms.
Potato internet. This one looks like a giant radar.
Can anyone explain these rings to a non desert person?
>>19504222
This is more what I expect from crops. Green.

it's NY
>>19504258
Thanks for sharing, seems like it's all part of a reservoir system, why there's tiny islands everywhwre, not a damn clue.
>>19504374
Doesn't look like lava beds to me, the most logical explanation could be that they are leftover tailing piles from an old mining operation, pic related - seems to show possible mine tunnel taken from Modoc National Forest which is right next to the co-ordinates. This isn't for sure the answer but seems like a pretty plausible explanation, would help if we could find out of there had been any large scale mining in the area.
Oh come on, the first thing when you find something like this is to save the freaking coordinates. No one forgets that.
Google image search maybe??

To the bottom left of the part with the circles, it says "ICP".

Clearly tailings from a mine and it has since filled with water after not being used

They look like those mannequins the US Army used in the mock towns they nuked in the desert back in the 50's.
Burning tar?
>>19505264
I stopped reading there.

At the northeast there is another similar place named Antelope Plains. After google it i found some info about the original place, apparently it's called Fairchild Swamp

Sorry for shitty english

Fairchild Swamp
http://archive.is/3LCir
>Fairchild Swamp is a 2000 acre wetland on the Devil’s Garden plateau. This area has been developed to provide spring migration and nesting habitat for waterfowl and shorebirds on the Pacific Flyway. This has been a cooperative effort between Ducks Unlimited, California Waterfowl Association, California Department of Fish and Game, and the Modoc National Forest. There are currently over 180 nesting islands and 4 & 1/2 miles of dike, and 6 water control structures in this project.

It's the same farms from above but death.
