Some years back when I went on a family trip. I was around 10-11 at that time. When we sat down for a family dinner, I closed my eyes for a second when I opened them again, everything stopped. My parents stopped mid sentence and mid motion. This lasted for a full 3 seconds. After that, everything resumed, much like in a youtube video when your internet's a bit shit. The same thing happened a year or two later. I'm currently 18 and I still have no explanation to this day. What do you people think?
I think your brain is a little fucked up, maybe some part of your brain stopped working or something. I would recommend seeing a neurologist

That's not even rare, but it's not that simple to unlock, keep trying and it's easier with familiar conditions.

Sounds similar to the stopped clock illusion, but I've never heard of it applying to a person's perception of a whole room like that.

I've no idea how it happened. Everything seemed normal to me, it was just that everyone froze and "came back" like nothing happened.
