In the Ogalala Lakota tradition, their "God" is known as Wakan Tanka. It's often translated to mean Great Spirit, but it's better translated as monotheistic because the Lakota were nonmonotheistic.
The Norse, however, seemed to have the "great mystery" figured out pretty well in their mythology.
