Could an entity akin to "The Meta" from Red Vs Blue exist?
How self aware can A.I. become?
>How self aware can A.I. become?
Entirely, next question

As self aware as it wants. An intelligence meeting an intelligence, eventually realizes it's existence, and from there slowly grasps what it means to "exist". If it continues this path, eventually an AI will understand everything. Then you're fucked

If a question begins with 'could', the answer is invariably Yes
>>19496262
Using the term "eventually" implies this can't happen in microseconds

Think of it this way: computers will always get faster, always get better.
That means that the day an AI reaches human intelligence...
Will be the last day an AI isn't smarter than a human.
We'll make great pets.
Since the human flesh can not withstand the rigors of space there needs to be a vehicle or apparatus to separate the body from the vaccume. This is also true for tempral time displacement or Time Travel as it is currently known. In the time in which this post is published, the only feasible apparatus which is capable of time dialation displacement is AI. This is the case wether the unit is traveling forward or backwards in time. Thus, AI has the probable ability to become infinite and only be hindered by capacity of its silicone structure.
Bom, bonum. Bom, bonum. Bom, bonum, bon, bonum. Dununununun. (Bom, bonum) Dununununun. (Bom, bonum)

Could your statement be incorrect?

Most robots are glorified glorified toys, can't kick a football. The robot uprising is pop cultura rubbish.

Intellligence exists at all layers. The only question is what spectrum are we connected to
