Snapped these two photos of these things. I don't remember the exact location since this was 2 years ago, but it was in a small and very old town in Illinois right along the Mississippi River across some bridge which connects to Iowa. What are they or what do they represent? Maybe /x has seen this type of artwork before?

Someone last night posted a coin that had almost the same symbol as the second pic has in the background, couldn't find a match for it though. Looks kinda Greek to me. I'll keep digging

OP here with update. It was in Moline Illinois. I'm still searching for anything related to these online since I don't even live in state anymore, but to no avail.
