I realise I'm late to the party but I would like to add something here that might be of interest.

I have a short book on unknown phenomena and in a section of it there is a part about SHC. The author goes onto describing what it is and what it could be and then follows by some anecdotal evidence of SHC from people that have discovered the burned corpse.

To my surprise there was story by a police office who was first on the scene to a SHC incident in the town I live in (England).. the book was written in the 80's and the incident happened in the Seventies.

I was able to track the now retired police officer down via facebook and had quite a few conversations with him about the incident, he claimed when he got there just the tip of her scalp remained and a foot, she was totally burned to ash yet her furniture was unmarked. He even remembered the street in which it happened but alas not the door number, I do enjoy walking down that street sometimes and thinking which house it happened in.

So, colour me a true believer in SHC.
