Do we really think the CIA/FBI lurk here specifically to discredit and take down real news? Just imagine the guy they have stationed on /x/, "guys they posted that alien pic again, alert the mods ASAP!!" No, all they really have to do is spread false info, then some schizophrenic on /x/ will take it for absolute truth, spread it around telling everyone to repent their sins. All the real information gets drowned out by the alien confederation of galaxy 129b from timeline 36f820jk3c, and then everyone on here appears schizophrenic because it's 90% of the content. All they really have to do is set filters on certain images or phrases. Honestly though, look at Erratas, look at glass camera, etc.. Why would information be so freely available if it was a major concern? Hell, the golf rumors don't even see much attention anymore.
