Might not be paranormal but why cant i find one place to buy quibits?

Are the normies not allowed to dabble in quantum computers?

Seriously though, are quibits even real?

Other then youtube vids, pictures and lectures.

Seems comparable to red mercury.
>>
>>19485141
Quantum computers are a meme
>>
seriously though, why cant you find ANYTHING. On how to build a quebit chip? Or any kind of hardware?

All the physics talk is like listening to a politician avoid a simple question.

Simple question

How and what do you make a quebit chip?

Anybody tell me?
>>
>>19485181
IIRC, they make the chips out of odd materials - the sort that need extreme cold in order to operate at high clock rates. The images that exist of the quantum computers that are produced for google and the like, are mostly the cooling enclosure. The actual chip is tiny - there's not actually a lot of data being processed on these chips either.

As for why there's no independent quantum chips, I think it has to do with the research side - there are likely others working on making the most useful application of the technology, with no working prototype - the theoretical side.
>>
>>19485141
>>>/g/
>>
>>19485181
You cant get it cold enough to operate. They literally only work in the coldest environment found anywhere in the universe.
A man made environment
>>
>>19485141
You can attempt to build one, but the intellectual property is highly protected and you won't find any kind of how to anywhere. If you want to buy one to build one it'll cost around 7 figures just in basic materials.

Wait until mass production I guess.
>>
>>19485141
You don't just buy quibits. They are quatum particles. So atoms or photons etc. Which are excited in a particular fashion to get results. You can't think of quantum computers in the traditional solid state manner.

You can get a quantum computer if you have billions of dollars
>>
just looking into dwave will alter your reality. i looked into it a while back, and shit started changing.

tons of data went missing on my computer. not deleted, just no longer existing. no trail of it either. then i thought about buying a green jeep a year ago. after looking into the dwave, everyone around me started asking what happened to my green jeep. i bought a silver one instead, and have had it for a year. but all of a sudden everyone was thinking i had a green one.
>>
>>19485141
So you want to get them sweet 4k 120fps on Skyrim remaster huh?
>>
>>19486016
maybe crises too haha But seriously just boggles my mind that we dont really really know what they are made of.
>>
>>19485906
ok but lets say i buy a D-wave right? Lets say it breaks, they are going to give me a replacement chip.

Thats what i want to know about.

Why the cloak and dagger of not selling individual parts?
>>
>>19486074
>Why the cloak and dagger of not selling individual parts?
IP. Best way to protect it is by secrecy.

Dwave btw is not really quantum computing.
>>
Ok i think the terms of language are getting confused.

Ignore the word computer right?

Pretend your an alien species trying to explain to me how to make pic related.

I have NO knowledge of computers in this scenario.

HOW DO I START TO BUILD A QUIBIT?
>>
>>19486612

You isolate an electron and use magnetic fields to manipulate its state.
>>
>>19486612

No one is hiding it from you, it's just that you need to be a goddamn genius to actually understand the math and theory behind it. No one wants to spend 6 months teaching you how to understand quantum physics.
>>
Quantum computers are not going to happen for a very long time.

Biological computers? Those will happen within our lifetime.
>>
>>19486638
Its not the teaching of physics im after, im after a material list to start with.

Like a bullshit wiki how explanation of How its made.

for ex. If i googled "How to build a hard-drive"
It would give me a list of things to acquire first, then steps on how to put together.

I dont need to know why it works, just what to put together.
>>
>>19486638
And also, that is exactly the politition/bullshit answer anybody in the field would give.

"Your a stupid pleb that works a blue color job so why even waste my time" so my answer will be "412364231768453289567435609372894326593513095873450326548976139538475308917538957390857"

Thats why it works
>>
you live in a quantum computer.
>>
"Hey fyi fruit is WAY better tasting then vegetables "

You show me pics of fruit, docs of fruit, facts of fruit.

But never let me taste fruit!

That the situation happeneing in my eyes with quantum "machines/computers"
>>
>>19486074
>>19486316
cost of parts is also a factor - they're building each one of these to-order. They make no extras. They likely create several cpu dies per batch, and only use the single most perfect one, and recycle the rest (or destroy).
>>
>>19486693
But D-wave is not the only company producing quibit tech. So the knowledge is out there, its not just one gifted person.

So apparently One guy made one quibit, then moralistically 4 others herd the name and concept and produced almost identical versions?

even crazier, ever wondered why electrons all have the same mass? What if there was only ever one electron and everything else is entropy and entanglement of this one electron? Side to side and up and down through 'time' etc is the universe, this was proposed by John Wheeler in 1949

If posts like mine sway anyone off topic so be it, why should I or anyone else particularly care. 'The stars are matter, we are matter but it doesn't matter'

This is a topic that interests me so I replied; but if you want to understand more about quantum computing you need to know more about superposition and entanglement; the Chinese banking sector is already working on small scale quantum computing networks and encryption and the QUESS project means ultrasecure quantum communications are being worked on

Also entanglement and the Observer effect could explain many paranormal experiences

In a conventional computer a bit is either 1 or 0. In a quantum computer, according to the gentleman in the lecture there's a point in space where the 1 and 0 over lap.

In conventionally, contradictory states are impossible, but I think i think we might call this aten; 10.

So we have multiple companies selling at ridiculous prices but not one of them have capitalized on individual sale of "quebit processors"

You can't just order a "Do it yourself" quantum computer kit, dude. Quantum computers don't even exist, as far as I know. It's ongoing research, and there have surely been experiments, maybe even something closer to a prototype, but it's not something you can expect to get into without knowing a lot about physics, at least.

> All the physics talk is like listening to a politician avoid a simple question.
Yeah, it sounds like chinese because you're nowhere near knowing enough about physics or mathematics to understand the basics of how a quantum computer might work. You can't spell "qubit", you don't know what a qubit is and "How and what do you make a quebit chip?" isn't even a proper sentence. You need to work very hard and learn a lot of physics if you really want to build a quantum computer, buddy.

You can find this information easily. Just figure out which schools are researching it and you will be able to read their research for free.

You won't be able to do anything about it though since you're a fucking kook that doesn't actually have any real skills or even know the first fucking thing about quantum computing.
>>
>>19488264
This is horrendously wrong, interference happens all the time on the macro scale- it's just not in a way that's useful to computing. It's almost like saying Maxwell's laws don't apply outside of electronic circuits or something. Entanglement is a little different but that still happens on the macro scale and may well happen all the time too.

And true quantum computers will always give a speed up, but that doesn't stop some computations from being in exponential time for example. So even if you can make an x^n problem run like an nx problem, that doesn't turn an a^x problem into an x^n problem and so forth.
>>
>>19485141
Even if you found one I doubt you could afford it.

This thread illustrates the immense naivety of this board perfectly.

>How do I get a quantum?
>But don't lecture me on physics
>I just want to go buy a quantum
>All the information out there is too complicated so they must trying to throw me off
>Literally just tell me how I can put a quantum in my computer
>Ok well at least this sacred geometry guy makes sense

Manipulating a molecule the way they do is cutting edge physics. It requires serious hardware and a serious understanding of physics. You can go read the most recent journals on the subject at whatever University or institution is studying it. But I doubt you will understand any of it and dismiss it as politician like mumbo-jumbo. Don't be so dense and start learning physics so you can start learning quantum mechanics so you can start understanding the studies and build your own quantum computer.

Or just go find a nuclear.
>>
>>19485141
how do you plan to "dabble" in quantum computing? lmao dude.

what you gonna run on it ? windows ?
basically you need a new programming language to utilize that shit, and we have no quantum programmers yet on a large scale.
no software for it.
the best we could do is program some math formula that tells us 2 is bigger than 1 99.99999999994% of the time or something like that.
it's not a meme, it's just way early for it's time.
>>
So to sum up this thread, there is no need to try.

Just join the rest of the sheep, sucking on the tit of mass consumer goods.

Join the flock waiting for the new IPhone 50.

Innovation died a long time ago, and all these anon are proof of that.
>>
For ex.

What has been created that is a new concept?

Electric cars? Just improvements
Jets? Just improvements
Cell phones? Just improvements
Computers? Just improvements

Sorta off subject but when I read about quantum mechanics incorporated into a interactive/data super calculator type device.

I think of Abacus vs calculator , horse vs rights brother plane.

Everyone realizes that humans made the launguage explaining quantum everything right?
