"Colonel Mbhele said that the provincial Occult-Related Crime Unit was investigating the matter."
> Occult-Related Crime Unit
has any anons worked for/been investigated by a comparable law enforcement division or agency? Any insight as to how they operate? Who typically comes up on their radar? How much of their time is spent just kicking people's asses for resisting?
My friend's dad was investigated in a murder because he collected and sold things related to the occult, knives, masks etc. But it was just dumb police mishandling a case because it was so horrific they thought it was "satanic."
>How much of their time is spent just kicking people's asses for resisting?
Resisting, like telepathically? Or are we talking about like True Detective?
I think it means they are specialized in the occult community of that particular region. Who's the whos and what they believe in and that sort of stuff. More psychology and local knowledge than anything paranormal.
This kind of voodoo is apparently taken quite seriously by some Africans, but I do not think it's very big in the West.
