I really like reading this kind of stuff. The doe network website is great too. It's really sad too, that so many people were seemingly forgotten by everyone. I mean, it seems impossible that no body could identify these people. No friends, loved ones, parents, etc. Like the world just forgot about them after they drew their last breath.

doe networker here. many unids are transients and illegals and those who are not are often estranged from their families and friends. the u.s. are pretty big and it's easy to get lost when you're out of your area and never had ben processed with fingerprints and dna.
