Bump for that 1 anon with the history of Tolkien and how provate intervirwers said that he admitted in private it was all ancient history he discovered through ancient languages literally nobody alive knows anymore

He pretty much just copy pasted history as best he could with the time he had

I do believe that all human imagination is tapping into an old or lost reality. If you think about it, all these mythological beings have an origin, and their stories is being passed on through generations and getting diluted by the the present cultures where they land in.

Even if the Tolkien events maybe fictionalized, i do believe such beings existed in some time and all mythology is ancient history.

Tolkien was not a ordinary human, he had knowledge like no one and most of his work is based in truth.
