That's cruel, I have a lot of favorite symbols.

I guess the yin and yang symbol though. Darkness within light, light within darkness. It symbolizes a balance between opposite (yet not opposing) sides. Positive and negative, active and passive, masculine and feminine, light and dark, crest and trough. They're complimentary, not a matter of good vs. evil, but two sides to the same coin. Two poles to the same magnet. The two that are one.

It's comforting.
