Pike was in his work on Morals and Dogma heavily influenced by Levi. The two books are still very different from each other.

Pike when you want to become a Freemason, Levi if you are not interested in Freemasonry.
He did not steal it, he just quoted it extensively in Morals & Dogma. It seems he had great respect for Levi. I am reading his "Transcendental Magick" right now and it is quite insightful.
