Psychic attacks can literally be negative images and thoughts seemingly flooding your head out of nowhere. On any subject that can elicit a negative emotional response from you (sadness, anger...broken down into fear [it always comes down to fear, the rest are secondary emotions]).

In a sense you are a conduit and the greater consciousness is transmitting through you. But others are also trying to signal radio into your head...think listening in the car and a really annoying ad comes up...how do you fight this?

Change the channel.

You have to be aware of your thoughts and then think "why am I having this thought, or what does this thought mean"

If you can control your emotions, approach them objectively and process how to properly act on them before they elicit any other form of response from you then you control your self and they have nothing on you. They can break your body but never your will unless you let them.

Literally the best defense is a POSITVE MENTAL ATTITUDE...obtained through proper maintenance of mind body and soul (garbage in, garbage out...use tools or lose them) and meditation and excersising your own true will

This is the transition from 3rd density consciousness to the 4th density. Our planet exists on a plane capable of perceiving two extremes to everything (night/day, cold/hot, good/evil, society/hermits, warmongering/peace-that-never-actually-fixes-anything.) Because we are able to be individuals, we are able to chose where we stand between any and all extremes of the world around us.

4th density is the thought process that tells us there is a correct place to be between every extreme. 4th density consciousness tells us to decide. In a way, the "neutral approach" you bring up is simply the transition above extremes to realize both are necessary to reach the midpoint: the correct path.

The alternate perspective many are "awakening" to is the realization that the best decision is one that takes into account the purpose of the All: creation, light, darkness, God, the Is, the Isn't, yourself, your neighbor, etc. When one begins to act and conduct one's life with this perspective, suddenly their reality changes to fit their chosen path: suddenly the 3rd density goggles they view the Earth with changes (in small yet undeniable ways) to fit their 4th density thoughts only as they deserve such changes for their understanding of All. Deny Love or a transcendental understanding of it, and one begins to experience all sorts of chaos and negativity directly related to their perspective on life... like big, spiritual tests that slap someone in the face to see if they get back on track, or not.
