I can't find it either. I remember an old thread here, I'm gonna guess around 2010-2012. The details are blurry but I'll try my best.

A guy receives an email from someone saying something like 'I don't know you but I have to tell this to someone'. There was a jpg attached called yolk.jpg, it was a very dark picture of what seemed like an abandoned factory if I'm not mistaken.

I don't remeber the details here but 4chan did its 4chaning and turned out that the email came from a guy who maintained an old website about Heaven's Gate which had been running since the mid 90's. Another picture appeared called white.jpg (It might have been that white came first than yolk, I'm not sure).

The second picture showed what seemed to be the inside of a house, also very dark. Lighting up the picture there seemed to be a human foot on the ground or something and the place looked a lot to the mansion where Heaven's Gate suicided in 97. The thread kept getting stranger and stranger. I remeber trying to archive it in an old computer but I don't think I have it any longer. Never found about it again.

As far as I know, no one lives in the area any longer, so you should have free reign over the place. And it's not difficult at all to get to, unless you want to go through the front door (the tree has made a mess of the porch).
I guess if you wanted to talk to the landlord though, you could go that route. I just have no idea who owns it now, when he lived there both times it was rented through a place called Bodsfords Realty or something like that.
It's actually a nice place, decent ways away from any loud neighborhoods and the road is usually not too busy. You just get weird vibes from the place sometimes.
As for emails, I only ever talk to Nic in person or on the phone. I'm sure he has one though. I on the other hand have one for business but I'd rather not hand it out. No offense to you buddy, but this is 4chan.

The whole Esoteric American thing. I didn't see some of the original threads but basically you print out a symbol and fill in parts of it throughout the night. It supposedly summons a yokai that will fill your dreams with enlightenment or something. There were certain levels that the website had with different symbols, it never unlocked all of them, I'm not even sure if it got halfway there. The website has been down for a while, I think they were getting "online attacks."
A few anons tried it, nothing really extraordinary happened, I think someone had a dream about something being in his house which led him to some kind of freemasonic medal. There was also a guy that had a dream about his sick sister. Seemed dangerous as fuck though, who knows what kind of shit they could've let in, I hope they're alright
