I think I can actually help you. I've had a number of weird all-night experiences.
I once spent a night hallucinating that I was Princess Luna. I was Princess Luna trying to sleep at night in a human bed and suffering severe insomnia. I was too warm, I had a bit of a headache, and it was the wrong hour for me to be trying to sleep. I kept rolling about, kicking at the covers with my hooves, squeezing my eyes shut and wishing I could just sleep already.
I got up the next morning quite human, but feeling like I hadn't gotten any sleep the night before. My irritation was soothed by the interesting memory of seemingly having laid in my bed in a different body. No ponyfeathers in the bed, alas. No reason to believe it literally happened as it was experienced.
I think these things are merely a kind of dream, but they're a really exhausting kind of dream that isn't restful at all.

What does this even mean? There's not really a "test," you have to meet minimum symptomatic requirements from the DSM. Also, I'm pretty sure incorrect diagnosis doesn't induce hallucination. What meds were you on when you last hallucinated? Because even LSD doesn't make me have hallucinations like you're describing.

Maybe check for a carbon monoxide leak in your residence? That's what I'm paranoid about at the moment.

I do not meet the criteria, outside of the hallucinations. Though, my psych student friend thinks I may be scitzoaffective. Gotta take that with a grain of salt since he hasn't gotten his degree yet.

Very first hallucination happened when I was on lithium and seroquill, and they did not stop until after I stopped taking medications prescribed under the assumption I had Borderline Personality Disorder. Which was proven unlikely after reviewing my symptoms.
I dunno anon, it's weird and I don't like suddenly being unsure if anything is real.
