How has /x/ helped your life?
>>
Gives me something to do while at work/on public transport
>>
>>19418780
It's a nice place to hangout with fellow schizophrenics where we can express our believe system and explore the tunnel without being held down by "mental health" workers.
>>
>>19418837
it also helps us observe you all in your natural state so we can better understand you and not talk/ work past one another
>>
>>19418780
it hasn't.

it's full of negativity.

but it's dang addicting.
>>
its helped me understand some experiences i've had to some extent, and i've learned a few things... still feel like i'm missing something here though

whenever i get that feeling whatever or whoever i'm waiting on turns up eventually
>>
>>19418780
Literally only made it worse
>>
Someone on /x/ told me I was in danger and they said a unique quote from my childhood that related to me, so I know it was about me. The next day, I had a mental breakdown and went to jail.

Seriously? What kind of thread?
>>
its fun to laugh at the ideology of the autistic and mentally ill; belief in magic, gods, apocalypse dates, and horriscopes is bullshit. prove me wrong. wait, you cant.
>>
>>19418915
A new thread about just me being in danger. I used to hear voices. The voice was a girl I met when I was young. We promised to love each other forever and ever. She was my soulmate. It was her who made that post. She said something that happened when we met over 20 years ago.

I had forgotten about her and remembered her later in life, in my twenties, when I heard her voice. She said it was time for us to meet. We met at a drive-in theater. She said she didn't want to be with me anymore.

A few months later, she told me that she finally came up with a plan to send me to jail. That night, she told me she had sex with my brother, and I had a mental breakdown. I thought we had a special connection and I loved her. I'm such a fool.
>>
>>19418780
It opened me up to some philosophy about metaphysics, and a few books that /x/ has opened the door to have more or less shaped my view of the universe and how people think/act. Not much has had a real impact on my life, /pol/'s philosophy is much more useful for that sort of thing.

Other than that, you fucks need to stop making threads about summoning succubi, tulpas, and RPing as powerful entities. They contribute nothing to this board. /x/ makes me want to kill myself because it's a creative blackhole. I feel like I've been viewing the same exact content for years.

well, someone posted (i forget which thread) "what you give attention to, you give power to"

that was really something that i needed exactly at the time, and now the quote is up on my wall, in my room.

to remind me to pay no mind to thoughts that don't serve a positive purpose.

other than that, it's made me scared of getting contaminated by all the negative juju infesting this board

/x/ is full of the coolest people you'll ever meet.
It is an honor to know them.
>>
>>19418945

i alternate between /x/ and /pol/ too, but i find /pol/ largely disappointing, they're still all mindlessly bickering over meaningless ideologies they'll never experience anyway because they have no power and their views are all equally meaningless to those in power...

their votes are just a pacification and division tool, their real enemy isn't each other, and so on...

there's just not enough talk about revolution and unity there, and still a lot of blind clinging to bullshit

>>19418916

tonight when you close your eyes to sleep focus on the space between them where your third eye "is" ,clear your head and take deep breaths, focus on only that soace and let yourself go

if you're doing it right you'll start to feel pressure, focus on the oressure and let it build

when it becomes unbearable imagine your third eye opening

if you do it right you'll know, if not keep trying it's easier said than done

binaural beats can help you find the space to focus on if you need it

once you're more open you might find yourself wanting to actually learn about the things you're disregarding

but it's no one's job to prove it to you, nothing is owed and there's no gain in making you believe

it's just not important
>>
x is shilled just like pol but it is more comfy in the end of the night, especially with tomorrow theme on

x is a place I can actually bounce ideas off of and maybe conduct collaborative research on deeper topics, x has potential but the shills keep it down, and yes LARPers/ flat earthers are shills

x filters out the neo normies on pol, if I can use that term, certainly you guys get what I mean by it

I disagree with your analysis of /pol/ in just about every way
>they're still all mindlessly bickering over meaningless ideologies
What's the problem with this? Each person holds a unique ideology that they think will best answer the world's problems. It doesn't matter if they'll never be implemented; ideologies are based on ideals by nature. There's no such thing as a utopia, but each ideology makes an attempt to approach a utopia.
>/pol/ has no power
Untrue. I legitimately believe that /pol/ won the election for Donald Trump. Memeing it hard enough drummed up enough support for the meme candidate. It's happened a million times before and it'll happen a million times into the future: culture starts at 4chan, leaks into reddit, leaks into the mainstream internet, leaks into real life.
>their views are all equally meaningless to those in power
I would agree with you to a certain extent. Certain viewpoints are meaningless because they're propped up by the elites. The Republican/Democrat """dichotomy""" is one of these viewpoints. The two parties are practically the same and are both controlled by the elite. The Powers That Be want you to vote in the interests of these parties because they are one in the same. The election of Trump threw a wrench into this system and, I believe, has opened the floodgates. We're going to see a lot less of traditional politics in this country.
>there's just not enough talk about revolution and unity there
I think there is. Certainly cultural revolution, at least.
>>
I learn that flat earth is crazy talk but it needs to constantly be disproved, discredited and mocked
>>
>>19418932
I remember someone from my past, too.
>>
>>19419017
Oh hey it's me. Like my story?
>>
>>19419005

ideologies are just division tools at this point, and some of them are based on division caused by those in power rather than free thought

having ideals is one thing, bickering over them and being unwilling to look at the present situation is another

i have ideals same as anyone, however i know they're meaningless in the present as anything other than a fantasy and not worth alienating others over (which is what's done)

if you look at the current reality of what's going on in the world those ideals become even more meaningless

philosophical talking points are nice and all, but there's no sense in giving them more importance than they deserve

it doesn't matter who wins the election, see you're overinflating right there, you're one of the people who's confused about the way power works

let me explain: voting is a pacification and division tool, the president is a figurehead... no matter which party is in office the same underlying agenda is going on (wars, surveillance, militarization of the police, corruption etc) that offers those in power even more power over the masses with little fear of retribution

the issues that do change are largely passion plays, smoke and mirrors, they get people riled up and divide them against each other over things that are small details in comparison to the larger picture

they scapegoat each other, and are pacified by the idea that in 4 years they can push a button and maybe "change things"

all power in the sense you're talking about is an illusion, and it's an illusion those in power want you to believe in because it benefits them when you think you have power while remaining easily controlled
>>
>>19419021
In my story we met in the past and finally remembered each other. I hear her voice, sometimes!
>>
>>19418932
You're just paranoid-schizophrenic.
>>
>>19419005

damn i was answering as i read, should've read then answered

we hit certain points

i don't think trump was a wrench, i think he was meant to be

the government here is becoming useless to the elites who want a one world government, the media and everything going on? the climate everything is happening in... i think it's possible that the elites either want a revolution (directed at the visible target, not them) or a civil war to make things even easier for them due to the climate that exists right now

both can happen in the same climate, sometimes at the same time, and that's where things seem headed

the us empire is collapsing in a lot of the ways rome did
>>
>>19419040
I hear voices, too. I'm on my meds.
>>
>>19418971
i sort of look at /x/ as a live experiment of what happens when you mix hundreds of different psychiatric medications, illegal drugs and disorders, phobias, delusions, obsessions and fixations into one single mind bending brew
>>
>>19419047
>the us empire is collapsing in a lot of the ways rome did
This is a good thing. We are in the age of decadence. This is the idiocracy. When it all falls down, civilization's default state is that of self-sustenance and preservation of morals. We've played with fire far too long and it goes down in a blaze. Even if I die in the chaos, it's better than living in a world of degeneracy. Did the Germans like living in the Weimar Republic? Did the Romans like the political instability? I don't want it to be like this forever.

The only thing that can save us from our fate is a strong dictator.
>>
>>19419065
We're not that interesting. Not even in our heyday. Some people just forget the site's nature.
>>
>>19419073

we definitely disagree there

i think people are too prudish, uptight, and concerned with abrahamic morals (which aren't objective truths and largely unnatural and pointless)

i think there aren't enough social freedoms and the government and society are too up in everyone's shit

i also definitely wouldn't place that much power into one person's hands and hope for the best unless their idea of power was very limited, and only strong in ways that made sense to me, but even then

rome was really prudish too you know, it wasn't degenerate, only slightly less so than america is now and often over stupid trivial things (like america is now)

the degeneracy of rome is overinflated to paint pagan people as being less than the christians who brutally slaughtered a good deal of them during the hostile takeover of rome by christianity, and it plays well into the use of christianity for power

it's a media tool and nothing more

that being said i think the chaos will be beautiful, i'm just concerned it won't spread far enough or take down enough

i don't want to see it put out before it digs deep
>>
>>19419096
It either descends into total chaos or it's reigned in under a strong leader. I'm okay with either.

>>
I've gotten a lot of practice in /div/ threads, and the /pol/ influences are just enough to keep me on my toes. It's a fun way to pass the time, and sometimes there's some really interesting and/or depressing thread that will send me down a rabbit hole.
>>
>>19419110
Depends who the leader is. It tends to be the right wing ones who are successful at this sort of thing, so yeah, I'd be pretty comfortable. Hitler would have been seen as the greatest leader of all time had the world not been against him. I'm ready for someone strong to cleanse our disgusting culture.
>>
About two to three times a year /x/ gives me hope that doomsday is coming.
When it doesn't happen I'm sad until the next prediction.
>>
>>19419133

hitler was technically left actually, and i don't agree with all of his views personally but he had some good ideas
>>
>>19419167

not far left by the way, edging towards right

but national socialism is ultimately an authoritarian left wing ideology
>>
>>19418780
/x/ has provided me with the knowledge necessary to mack on Occult qts
>>
/x/ is a useless shit board full of useless poster posting useless shit posts that doesn't help me the least bit

all my paranormal knowledge comes from other sources
>>
>>19419255

i love women who are into the occult, and they love me

i have the added bonus of them seeing me as "special" though, until they go crazy and then it just turns out to be a bad ides, but that's all women i get close to

they always tell me it's my fault, and they don't act like that with other people so it must be me

i don't know what i do wrong though
>>
>>19419206
Not this again. National Socialism is not Marxist Socialism. Its closer to Spengler's definition of Socialism, as in, concerning society and the wellbeing of the group as a whole. The usage of that admittedly misleading term, and the appropriation of the red background on the flag, was meant to attract working class people with communist sympathies to their cause and get their attention. They themselves were NOT Communists though, or anything that would be considered "left wing".
>>
>>19419031
Not the guy you're responding to, but I just wanted to let you know that I agree wholeheartedly with you.
Why the fuck would the fuckers in charge say "oh damn, they voted that candidate in. We control everything, but I guess our plans are ruined now"?
What we need is for all the regular citizens to unite. We can't change anything, whether you're left or right, but we vastly outnumber those that do actually control things.
>>
>>19418780
That however dumb I may feel at times, I'm not as headachingly retarded as 90% of the posters on this board are.
>>
and why would i take the time to teach a little degenerate? haha

Good thing you're so above it all, anon.
>>
>>19418780

It actually taught me to question things, especially the pseudo skepticism that is so en vogue right now, where political agenda and 'feelz' trump the legitimate facts which the scientific method has verified for villainizing those with disagreeing opinions.

/x/ gave me the tools to say fuck off to Bill 'Sex Junk' Nye and James 'I'm Fucking Gay Now Virtue Signaling' Randi with the promoting of the most abused heuristic, 'Occam's Razor', as somehow being scientific in the slightest, and any sort of valid argument in the absence of measurable, testable, and repeatable experiment of a hypothesis.
>>
>>19419425
I hope you kept the receipt for those tools, because they're clearly defective.

>increased disillusionment
>increased unhappiness and lack of peace

should have taken the blue pill
>>
>>19419460

Those are good things though. Most people will be absolutely blindsided when the collapse happens
>>
>>19419361

marxist socialism is far left, i made the distinction

the social programs hitler had are what make national socialism left wing, you can be left wing without being communist (and again close to right, but still left leaning)

there's shades of grey between the extremes, not just extremes

i never called it communism or implied it was marxist, i've read mein kampf i know hitler's views on marx, i've also read marx

not that any of it matters

>>19419384

it's nice to see people who agree, i've seen quite a few

just unfortunately not in person and only in situations where coming together is a non option

the numbers make a huge difference

for one thing people need to be more self sufficient, to rely on each other instead of the government and big business

obviously the 2nd amendment would have to come into play because power is never handed over

currency substitution is another one people can use in their favour

destruction is necessary on many levels, but there's many means available

nothing is made so well it can't be taken apart, and there's major striking points

also guerilla warfare tactics would give citizens a level of advantage if it came to it

i've spent years considering all of this, and i'm still pulling it all together, but i see a lot of possibility if people really try instead of clinging to what they're given out of fear
>>
>>19418780
I should have never came here
>>
>>19419484
Oh I know you weren't implying they were Communists, was just saying how they themselves were aware of the ambiguity of their position on the left/right spectrum. Ultimately, I think that the left/right binary fails to be useful in certain cases, such as monarchies and fascist states.
>>
>>19418780
Now I can curse in English, fag
>>
>>19419540

it doesn't work for everything no, but like i said it doesn't even matter right now

that's the kind of thing people have to worry about later rather than now honestly... there's far more pressing matters, on too large a scale

and honestly any leader in this climate would have more luck focusing on the present than the future, and ideologies would inhibit that on a large scale because people need to unite across those ideologies

division would just further weaken people, and the balance of power is shifted in a manner where it's critical that it doesn't go much further or there won't be a possibility of tipping the scales
>>
>>19418784
pretty much
