It's a long story across 5-6 threads. Basically, some OP found a long letter which he scanned and uploaded (it was handwritten). Had some very strange content.

He tried to track down the author of the letter, and kept us updated. In the end, some people just started making memes, and they doxed one of the informants the OP found, and basically ruined everything.

All of the sudden, no more threads, and no closure for the ones following the thread seriously.

It was sad, cause the OP was the real deal.

I live in Vancouver and some of the mentally ill people do some amazing things. For a few months now the mental health clinic near where I live, has had a bunch of chalk symbols drawn out on the sidewalk in really ornate ways. It's probably just an art project or something some old guy does in his spare time, but I'm sure someone from /x/ could make a conspiracy out of it.

Letterman here, I'm actually shocked people still remember this. What happened was that I might have talked to the author of the letter, Rachel, but the conversation was through the Facebook account of one of her friends and consisted of two questions. I got no answers, but I was supposed to meet up with Rachel and her two friends at their apartment (which I still have the address of). Some facebook-redditor posted it to a couple of groups, however, and Rachel's two friends probably got spooked and bailed on me.
So yeah, fuck reddit. Feel free to ask any questions.

I'm as baffled as you are.

I live in Vancouver and I think its fairly interesting. There is some underworld stuff going on but its all in the background and you can live your whole life without getting involved or even seeing it firsthand. Also not much degenerate shit, given how large the city is.
