Try and convince me otherwise.

Yeah your probably right op.
This is most likely true. Human relationships require input and don't come self-made.

You post about them a lot. Anyone you exist with can be considered a soul mate in some circumstances
I believe in some weird shit.
Aliens, alternate dimensions, M theory, residual energy, etc.
I'm also a fairly conservative Christian. I believe God literally manifested in the form of a human to take the punishment for evil he himself imposed.
But soul mates is one thing I find just preposterous. ME!
Sorry, anon. There are plenty of fish in the sea, whether we're talking friends or lovers, but the right bait can catch many fish. Just gotta know what to cast out there.

and who the fuck are you for us to try and convince?
everything is a permission slip
I feel it's just extremely rare for them to find each other, because every once in an age I see a couple that were definitively a perfect match. Quite the beautiful thing to see, yet being one who dreams too hard I can only squelch in bitterness for not having something so wonderful for myself.

if they are then thats very sad to know that there are so many soulmates that will never meet each other.

I believe in soulmates to the extent of two people being so compatible that they hit it off at an accelerated rate. But even then, those relationships will require effort at some point or another.
I love it.
You are free to believe in what you want, why would asny of us take the time to try and (prove) something that can't be proved?
Even if it's true and i think it is.
I can't prove it exists as you can't prove it doesn't.
I'm agnostic on this concept. I don't know how someone would be proven to be or not to be a soul mate.
