When the Wired [an advanced form of the internet which allows for mobile access via a psyche processor, an ingested accella device, or an in-built piece of hardware, such as may be the case with Iwakura lain, and that allows programs to interfere with the dream known as reality.] came in to being, it brought with it glitches in the aether of reality, as well as becoming a house for the replicas of the deceased [it also contains replicas of Iwakura Lain, which may be her unconscious programmed self or replicas created by Knights or the US government using Extraterrestrial technology.] The Wired, in conjunction with her in- built hardware gives Iwakura Lain the power to control the dream which is hers. Masami Eiri, who thought he himself dreamt the world, created Iwakura Lain in order to blend the Wired, which housed his replica, in to reality, where he would presumably reign as a Godlike being [or this may have been his idea.] Because Iwakura Lain was the one, she was the one to remain and after doing this she was free to realise herself as the one who dreams the world. The Wired is eventually controlled by Iwakura Lain completely and she drops people who are already deceased down in to whatever setting she chooses [in the final episode she chooses a bridge] in order to converse with them. Mankind was always a dream. In fact, there is no connection of two or more souls occurring; Iwakura Lain is simply browsing through software like on a Navi computer within her manufactured hardware. Eiri Masami was an employee of Tachibana labs and worked together with Iwakura Lain‘s foster father, who housed Iwakura Lain after she was created by Tachibana Labs [and was probably re- programmed by Eiri Masami.] Eiri Masami knew Iwakura Lain would blend the realms of cyberspace and the hologram known as physical reality and assumed that he would return to the latter as a Godlike being, which was not to be.
