The things I can definitely do are manipulate chance based events, change peoples emotions and determine the age at which people will die. The first has a short range but I have expanded it with practice and can probably continue, the second is the same but the significance of the effect decreases with distance and it doesn’t seem like I can change that, the third one requires that I have spent a fairly long time touching the person (not sustained, just cumulative) or a very long time around them. There is more that I don’t have any understanding or control of such as teleportation of objects, time travel, immortality and a few more.

What do you mean with ''Chance based events''? If you mean things like flipping a coin, that's not really chance based. It's based on the physics of the coin depending on the exact forces your hand applies to it when flipping it. If you can manipulate a coin toss, which part of it do you manipulate? Do you manipulate the hand that tosses it or the trajectory of the coin in the air? Where does it end? Can you manipulate the chance of you having sex with my wife to be 100%?

I do mean things like flipping a coin but make no mistake, I am no stranger to science, I assume it changes things like the exact force applied to the coin when being flipped or the wind speed around it, I am not entirely sure and I doubt I would be able to do anything to a coin being flipped by a machine in a vacuum or anything like that. I basically send magical energy into the coin, (I dont really know how to describe it properly) and decide on what side I want the coin to land on and then if it is tossed within a time determined by how much time I spend with it, it will land on what I decided, the only exceptions I have ever had were quite interesting as I later found out that if my magic had worked, something bad would have happened, for example, once when I was still in school, some people wanted me to show off for them and I was unsuccessful in doing so, so they admitted that they intended to fight me if I actually showed any power.

I have never tried going to the place where they decide the numbers but I have just bought lottery and with no success, possibly because of the range limit or possibly because people who win lottery usually end up killed, either way it doesn't work. As for limits, I don't quite know, I can get a good hand in poker when I am the dealer (and I am terrible at shuffling so I certainly think that comes down to chance) but that's the most complex thing I have tried, for all I know I could ensure a catastrophic failure in a space station if I could get close enough to it. I wouldn't be surprised if I could "get lucky" with sex but the only woman I have ever slept with was STD free and we knew that beforehand (for someone who can control luck I don't like taking chances). An earthquake, maybe. If at all possible I would have to practice quite a lot to get my range up from a few meters to a tectonic plate though and it has taken years for me to be able to do anything without direct contact with the entire surface of an object.

Something I have always thought to be interesting about myself is how I always prefer delving into things that could be considered bad or evil and then only thinking of ways to bring about good, I have studied human psychology and can play people like puppets (being able to control their emotions certainly helps) but I only ever use that knowledge and skill for things like fixing relationships and creating friendships. I guess I think that using evil for good makes sense somehow.

by determine I mean figure out, I cant change when someone will die, I can only tell them, I for instance, will die at 86 so I have 50 years left, could be useful if I met an aspiring politician who wanted to change the world for the better but that and similar situations is about it

There are some things that are far better as selfish pursuits, ask any great musician or artist why they do it and they will tell you they do it for themselves. an interesting perspective, whenever I think about karma and the like I usually think back to something that constantly happened when I was a teenager, I would experience the feeling of death along with some visions that I have roughly pieced together, basically, I have enough power to prevent/avoid any bad karma applied during my life and more than enough power to make karma my bitch after death. I trust that those visions were accurate since my power was heightened for around 20 seconds after them and I mean really heightened (the most impressive thing I have ever done was after one of the first few times that happened, I freaked out and changed the emotional state of the nearest person so badly that they immediately fell to the ground and tried to kill themselves). I might try to be a bit more self-indulgent for a while and see how it turns out.

I have this too (chance manipulation), to a certain degree, although I would attribute it to a development in faith and consciousness.
I can also influence my environment, although only small things, like making a red light turn green or the movement someone is going to make if I put my full focus and intent towards them/it. You can feel a certain energy inside while doing this, well, at least I can. The more it feels or rather the deeper I sink into that feeling of 'faith' or whatever it is, the better/quicker it happens as I intend it to. My success rate is something like 75%, but I only try on small endeavors.
With a deck of cards, I basically attract the cards I most want to attract, I was getting face cards like 4/5 even after shuffling the deck and stuff, with more practice I could definitely draw the exact card I want by exerting the influence of my being on the universe; as it's said that only the now is present.
As Yugi Muto always said,"believe in the heart of the cards".

Of course, though, this will always seem like roleplay to people who haven't come across the proper life-events or material as a foundation to this path. Eventually, maybe.

I think you do have the same power as myself, what you described sounds almost identical to what my mother has which mine, as you can probably guess, is a slight variation of. I only attribute it to magic rather than faith because it seems to be hereditary but I have absolutely no idea what it is. As for specifics, I have never been able to change the colour of a light and neither has my mother but it sounds quite interesting as far as scientific application goes, I can also control the movement of people but I have put much more practice into controlling their thoughts and emotions so my success rate is low in comparison. I feel quite the same with the energy or whatever it may be, when using your power, do you move the energy into what you want to manipulate? That is what I do. You only trying on small endeavors is quite interesting to me, I think that having this power might somehow influence us to not use it, I have gone months at a time without even thinking about it and have decided against using it in many significant situations for no apparent reason, I sometimes question this but usually just dismiss it as my own fault but it might not be. I can attract exactly what I want from a deck of cards and can even ensure I get a winning hand without even thinking about exactly what I want but I have practiced quite a lot, I don’t doubt you could do the same with as much practice. You are quite right about people thinking this to just be roleplay but I believe in reincarnation so maybe in the next life they will have reason to believe.
Also, a question to finish off with, do you have European heritage? Every person I have come across with similar power has had European heritage, including myself, so I think there might be an origin somewhere in Europe that might be worth investigating once I have enough information.
