I'm almost certain those are out there too. I just don't know any specific cases upfront.

It's actually really tricky when it comes to fairies. The term is so widespread, it can even refer to ghosts, demons, and even cryptids.

Do you live in Ireland? I'd suggest looking into your local folklore. Ask around, or see what you can find online about your area (county at least, if nothing comes up for your town).

I heard a banshee once in school, we were sitting quietly once in history class when I hear this almighty, gutteral, feminine screeching from an indiscernible location around 30 meters away if I were to guess. I joke to my friend saying that was a screeching and a half, he asks "what?" And I tell him about the scream to which he says he heard nothing. I look around and no one in the class looks phased despite the fact that the classroom, surrounding rooms and halls are as quiet as the dead (he) and I could hear that the scream was not faint. The next day I found out that my great uncle's heart had given out after a battle with cancer in multiple areas. It wasn't until a few weeks after his passing that I really thought about the scream.
