Posting to this weird place because this would probably have the highest chance of being known about on /x. I'm curious if anyone has ever been able to understand pic related in full. I am going into structural engineering because I want to design houses that are drafted using the math schemes in this work, so I'm wondering if there is a light at the end of the tunnel. It's a huge fucking piece of work

Bump in hope that someone knows what this even is

Don't know about that specific temple, but you should check out "The code" the documentary. It talks about number patterns in nature, ancient structures, and the universe as a whole. You will surely enjoy it, there's a section about ancient structures specifically, my favorite was a very old cathedral.
It will surely give you some cool ideas.

That's mostly what this work is about. It is unbelievably dense and it goes into the thinking, the math, and the reasoning behind the measurements of the temple, citing papyri and the language in the meanwhile. It even works out problems from mathematical papyri and it also somehow links this to their survival papyrus. It is all ass backwards from our own reasoning which doesn't help. I'll check that docu out but I doubt it could go as in depth as this work, at least to the point that I could use it to design varied buildings.

I hear too that the Gothic cathedrals use the methods laid out in this book to some extent
Start the math backwards. Your building SPaces not buildings.

I'm not sure what you mean. Have you read this book?

this.
Also "Secrets in plain sight." is a fantastic documentary for those who wanna know to what extent the elites believe in alighning their structures with leylines and ancient temples
